News Zabit Not Interested In Fighting Korean Zombie, Will Wait For Title Shot. *New Update/Translations*

They know it has to be a 5-rounder to get a title shot. But this declining happened last time as well, so Zabit has decided he needs a full camp for a specific opponent, and they have to achieve this. I think they should give him the shot right away. Him or Ortega. Or try to book the winner of Volk/Ortega soon against Zabit.

Yair isn't as high up the ladder as matching him up with Zabit would suggest. Before KZ/Ortega my view of it was:

1. Volk
2. Max
3. Zabit
4. KZ
5. Yair
6. Ortega/Kattar

So the matchmaking has been a bit off.

Kabib's coattail riders are going to find their leverage significantly diminished with Kabib gone.
 
I don't see why Zabit vs Zombie couldn't be a 5-round fight. Zombie is a bigger name than Yair. Could easily main event a fight night

He was probably asked for 5 rounds which he avoids like the plague.

Modern fighters are pussies with no money and CTE.
 
He's in his physical prime, he hasn't fought in a year, doesn't have anything booked, and he's turning down fights.

It's not like he's some champ/former champ/super star... to be picking his own fights, and disappearing long term.

Why is he even ranked at this point. Isn't a year of inactivity the cutoff?

Ortega who took a serious ass whooping and was gone for 2 years, then got a title shot with a good win has already made them both look like fools.

Also dont be surprised if Kattar gets a title shot before them too if he wins against Max lol

With 60 fighters apparently on the chopping block, it might not be the right time to be difficult with the matchmakers. Gotta be pragmatic here and take the fights that are offered

And in my interpretation, they want Zabit's next fight to be a 5 rounder so he can earn a title shot, and 3 rounds won't give him that, and they want a different opponent coz his coach isn't updated on what's going on with some of the other contenders in the division.

Zabit is going to get Leon'd at this rate and get forced to fight some bum in exchange for keeping the number next to his name.
 
I interpreted that as KZ is dangerous and we're trying to find the easiest path to the belt so we'll sit out
 
He should take a fight pretty soon, he already hasn't fought for over a year, I get him not wanting to fight KZ, but Kattar is booked and Yair won't fight for a while, he might get booted from the rankings if he continues to wait.
