Anyone else having problems playing YT videos? For the last week or so, my YT videos have been glitching. The video and audio will stop and restart every 30 seconds or so. I thought it was my laptop, so took it to the repair shop I use. Turns out the manager has had exactly the same problem with YT videos. Netflix, Amazon Prime etc work fine. It's just YouTube.

The manager's theory is that it might be a problem with the servers, and Google is just too cheap to make fixing it a priority.

No, normal service here.

Still a lot of great content on YouTube videos but the influx of ai slop is disappointing and it feels like it will get worse. Haven't had any issues with videos playing.

No issues here and I use it daily, mostly for music.

I absolutely cannot get a youtube video even as low resolution as 480p to play smoothly even after my internet speed quadrupled. It's as if youtube is trying to do too many privacy invasion things on my computer and diverting system resources to that instead of the video. It definitely doesn't seem to cache and maintain smooth playback.

I've had a really strange issue with videos appearing darker..... Even on maximum brightness

Nope. I just subscribed to Youtube premium lite and its worth every penny so far compared to other shit I subscribe to.
