Your reaction if Nick gets battered and left stiff?

Nick Diaz -
*38 years old (Well past his physical prime).
*Hasn't competed since January 2015 (6 years & 9 Months). This is the worst case of ringrust in UFC history.
*Last win was October 2011 (9 years & 11 months). His next two fights against Condit & GSP weren't impressive performances.
*Reportedly has been 'In the gym' over his years of inactivity, but I know obese people that occasionally go to Planet Fitness.
*No accounts of sparring in training camp, or over the last 6+ years.
*Has been a vegan throughout his inactivity, and yes that is a major factor in terms of muscle density and endurance. Only recently abandoned it for eating meat in his training camp.
*The 'trains for marathons/triathalons' narrative is tired because neither he or Nate ever goes for a finish (in the last 10 years) unless its obvious their opponent is exhausted.
*The interview he gave in spring of last year shows he has severe CTE, or the mental relapses common with people with very long-term weed habits (20+ years), or both.

The absolute best condition Nick will be in the same he was against Anderson Silva, which he (and Silva) basically treated it as a 5-round sparring match in which neither ever went for serious shots or went in for a finish.

And just like that fight, Nick will follow that gameplan and hope for a judges decision, and when he loses he'll bitch and complain the judges were wrong, he clearly should have won the fight. Nick started that PR strategy after his loss to Condit, and then Silva, but then Nate started doing it as well, basically ever conceding a loss.

<LikeReally5>

We're going to see the same shit tonight, unless Lawler finishes him OR beats him so badly by the end of the 5 rounds Diaz claiming he won would be a complete joke.

If Robbie has anything left he's going to beat Nick down badly until it gets sad.

Didn't read all of it. but agree with title
Diaz might stand on steps and taunt octagon. Lawler will bob and weave from Buffer introduction to final bell.

How about you shut the fuck up and wait for the fights.

Getting a weird feeling mainly from Diaz looking like he’s severely depressed being said, apart from 20seconds against Askren, Lawler hasn’t been a killer since the Condit fight so expect the unexpected

As a Nick diaz fan, I expect a shit show. Similar to win Royce fought Matt Hughes, or when bj fought Nick diaz ironically enough. Or when dc fought Anderson silva. Or when Liddell fought anyone after rashad took his soul.

In Lawler's last 4 fights he fought ranked opponents in their prime, and he came within an eyelash of finishing Askren.

Although he's a year older he's remained active these last 7 years fighting some of the beasts of the division and at least evolving with the sport through his losses.

And keep in mind in his last four losses he was never finished (unless you count the bullshit stoppage against Askren) and he lost the other three by decision.

His style is to stand in the pocket, and take shots. He's old now, gonna be slower. Everything he's saying before the fight is not what you wanna hear from a fighter. He seems to have brain damage as well

He's gonna have to change his style, stay on the outside bc eventually your chin goes.

Yeah because Lawler is such KO machine at this stage of his career.

Lawler hasn't finished anyone in 6 years and his last finish was because Rory's nose damage was too much, otherwise Rory was winning that fight.

Not saying Nick will be in his old form because we don't know but Robbie is way way past his prime.

Nick wins this fight, let him have some fun fights against aging vets, Matt Brown, Mike Perry, etc cap it off against Masvidal

Very possible.

Correct me if I'm wrong but there wasn't ANY interesting footage of Diaz sparring in training camp.

So that means he didn't do any serious sparring OR they got footage but didn't include it in the Countdown show because it'll be analysed in a negative way for Diaz.

This may be a combination of Liddel coming out of retirement for the 3rd fight with Tito and Rousey/Nunes.

And what exactly is Robbie doing to Nick for him to leave with a perma stiff?
<{clintugh}>

Depressed and saddened. In his prime he was great to watch win or lose.
