Aldo and Khabib are different fighters though. Max won't have the reach advantage he had against Aldo.

That said, I really hope he does.

The point is that no fan should be "shocked" if Max - a great striker who TKOd a goat (and himself a great striker) twice - knocks out a shitty striker who got rocked by Michael Johnson.

All these reaction gifs are making out like it's a one in a million chance. I'm not saying it's a dead certainty but Max has a way better chance than y'all are giving him.

Would be surprised but not insanely surprised. Max is an elite fighter and so many variables come to play in the outcome of full contact combat. Smart money says Khabib will smash the guy who is a weight class smaller who was injured 3 weeks ago and completely unprepared for this fight. But crazier things have happened.

I wouldn’t be too shocked at all, Max isn’t silly, he will be defending the takedown as much as possible. If he can keep it on the feet at least 60/70% of each round he’s got every chance of getting the knockout

I will be very shocked if he can achieve 60-70%. It will probably be more like 20-30%.
