your personal blacklist

No blacklist but when people try to do something spazzy or against club rules (and If I've explained this to them before) or anything malicious I punch them in the face... Never happens again after that. Sometimes you just gotta show people you won't tolerate shit.

I'm an old man. I don't recover well from injuries.

Sometimes, I'll try to avoid the really big guys (i.e. 250lbs+) due to some lingering rib issues. Other than that, I'll roll with anybody.

there is one guy i refuse to roll with and its because he stinks like an armpit in the desert. i shouldnt be on the verge of puking due to BO.

aside from that i train with a good group of guys.

There is always one. I give someone 2 chances... the first time a person stinks, I give them the benefit of the doubt. The second time they stink, I avoid them completely. And I don't mean sweaty-from-rolling stink either. I'm talking about the super sour wet gi before training even starts stink. 2 Fridays ago I got paired up with someone who already had a strike against them, he put me in full-guard and then I made that cough dry heave that your diaphragm forces on you lol.

The reply is what pissed me off more than the smell when I asked him when the last time he had his gi washed. He says "Recently?". Then he goes " Wait! I washed it and hung dry it!!!!" That right there told me flat out that this guy is a bag of shit. My response was "Oh dude that is fucking unacceptable!" My instructor has a soft spot for him so he gave him a new gi so he can roll.

No, though I certainly have people I roll with more cautiously. For the white belts it's a double edged thing...they might do better at first by rolling really, really hard, but if I know a guy has a tendency to spaz a bit then I don't give him any room, I just dominate him start to finish. All the blues and above at my school are cool, so in terms of people around my level there I feel safe rolling with everyone.

There were some people at my old gym, that I would avoid just because they didnt have a "roll mode" it was always full bore, and with something to prove. I would avoid them just to avoid injury. Now, my classmates are really cool.

Just about all new white belts are on my list they're a danger to everyone. The expierenced list is pretty short because what I do with meatheads is basically go limper than amish chick on her honeymoon. It pisses them off to no end but I get to avoid needless injuries.

There's that guy that tries to jump a guillotine at the start of every roll. There's the guy who has 50 pounds on me and just transitions all day erryday. There's also the wrestler who rolls fairly technical until he gets in a bad position then he grabs something an just torques it with all he has, during tourny training.

I put a guy on The List because the logo of his Vitamins & Minerals rashguard kept rubbing off on me. It was ridiculous. Everyone would end up with little bits of Vitamins & Minerals all over their stuff. Eventually there was nothing on his rashguard except the "&" symbol.

Dude I havent seen Vitamins & Minerals gear since like the late 90's and very early
00's! I remember when Hunter, V&M, and Bad Boy were the kings of no gi and mma gear.

we have one spaz i refuse to roll with. he is one of these "i learned this off the internet" guys who still cant throw an arm bar from guard after 3+ years of grappling...

he spazzes like a first month white belt and wont tap to anything unless you put enough pressure to hurt him or choke him out...and even then, he just yelps and flops around....

Most of the time I want to roll with everybody. But when I am returning back from injuries I tend to not roll with some guys in the first week or so after an injury. Those are also the same guys who I don't slow roll with. Still cool guys who I am friends with and I don't hold any grudge on them.

I have one and it is always that "guy" who is big and strong with no technique (or just little) and NEVER know how to roll and take care of their partner. Worst of all is when they try stuffs like can opener.

Stop making me feel old. Sob sob

there's a guy who smells bad and cranks submissions, I avoid rolling with him like the plague

i roll with everybody. some people are less enjoyable to roll with obviously.
