Title says it all ... what is the most shocking moment you`ve seen in MMA ...

Mine ... CC vs GG ... was talking up CC the whole time to a friend who had never seen him fight ... then BAM ... one and done ...

The showtime kick. That was so unexpected that I seriously flew up out of my seat.

Nothing more shocking than Corey Hill's checked leg kick IMO

I gotta jump on the CC/GG bandwagon. Not only was I surprised that CC got KO'd, but by the move that made him famous, no less. It felt like bizarro land.

CC gonzaga has to be number one. I was like 14 and I just sat down and cried when that happened. I haven't been the same since.

I think I would give the number 2 spot to Serra vs St. Pierre I.

Rampage taking the belt from Chuck is also good pick for second imo.

Silva subbing Sonnen is also up there.

Let me add CC getting KO'd by Randleman...not that I doubted Randleman's abilities, but CC just seemed like a machine at the time, and even when Randleman got him down, I didn't for a second think that he'd get a KO while in guard.

Cro Cop getting a sub against Randleman in their other fight was a surprise, too.

Not MMA, but I'd say Bob fucking Sapp beating Ernesto Hoost TWICE was a real brain bender.

This, I lost it when that connected. Pettis is my favorite fighter and Bendo is my dads favorite fighter. I still hold that fight over his head to this day.

The Showtime kick made me go from laying down in bed, to standing up and jumping all over my room while yelling...all in less than 1 second. Wasnt until 15 seconds later that I realized that I had been watching Bendo still awake grabbing a leg. My brain just thought bendo was knocked out even though I was watching Bendo awake.

I dont think I have witnessed anything that topped that. Not even Cro Cop getting Cro Cop'd by a short hairy BJJ specialist.

Haha, that was ridiculous. Good call.

Anyone remember Takase vs Anderson Silva? I didn't see that one coming, and knowing now the winning machine that Anderson would become, it's even funnier to go back see him lose to Takase.
