Growing up in the 90s meant you had spikey frosted tips. Pretty cringe worthy.

nope i grew up in the 90's and poor which meant i had a bowl cut lol wasnt as douchey but did scream hey my mom did this lol

I had a bowl haircut forever. Looking back......

I had dreads for a few years, and I decided to cut them the day before my older brother's wedding (that was only part of the decision -- maybe the deciding factor, but only part of the decision).

So a chick I was working with offered to cut my hair. I should have gone with just a straight completely shaved, but she wanted to try a fade and I let her. It was the worst fade ever.

So, the day before the most photographed I've ever been I got the worst haircut I've ever had. blech

I think kindergarten or 1st grade, the in thing was to have a rat tail. I was trendsetting for the 2 other asians in my school! This was in the mid 80's.

I'm still kinda fond of most all of my haircuts tbh ... but ... my Unforgettable Fire era Bono mullet was a bit cringey in hindsight lol

Mine wasn't quite that bad but bad enough so my daughter laughs at my pictures from when I was in high school. Everyone in the late 80s early 90s had big hair. Chicks liked it.

I had a bowl cut from the age of like, 3 to 6 maybe. Other than that I've pretty much always just had short hair. No specific styles, just short.

My first year in the ARMY, and getting to basic training, they straight shaved my head......


However you must know, I have a horrible deformed head, i have a big nose and Im a thin dude....I swear, people thought I had time traveled from Auschwitz............

One time I forgot to instruct the hairdresser not to touch the sideburns. She touched the sideburns. I walked around looking like an Asian fella for almost 30 days waiting for that shit to grow out.

Had the bowl cut as a kid. Also had a mullet, but my crowning glory was when I was about 16. A friend on mine talked me into dying my hair at the front and back blonde. I have dark hair, it went ginger, so I looked like a ginger kid with a Beenie on cause it was just the front and the back at the bottom!

I think the majority of people had really bad haircuts back in the 80's early 90's. I'd look back at pictures of my parents when I was born and laugh at their stupid hair. Then growing up I had a bowl cut, even went through a stage of shaving all of my hair and leaving just the fringe, infact that was quite popular in the early 90's around my area.

I had something like Lisbeth Salander in the American version of the films when I was ~14. Not a good look. Really.
Or when I buzzed it.
My features are too big for short hair, I looked like a clown.

around 14-15 I was a skate rat and made a run at growing my hair out. its too wavy though, so it had that awkward curl/sweep to it. it was pretty bad

When I was a youngster in H.S. around 91-94 I got that kind of "Edward Furlong" "skater" haircut a couple times. I guess that wasn't that bad. I never really had a mullet, like a few of my friends.

I had some pretty ratty long hair though a few times.
