I didn't like Marston either. He was bland as fuck. You wanna be Doc Holliday but they give you Wyatt Earp bro
 
Everyone in FF13. Snow was such a bitch blaming himself for everything. The kid was a stupid bitch. The women were all stupid. The black guy was the only one that was alright.

I loved playing as John, but Jack just seemed like a whiny little douche to me. Luckily I had a save file from just before that final mission in RDR, and just played all of the side missions and whatnot on that file. The game just felt unplayable with Jack.

He literally yells at his fucking horse. It's a horse. And he's impatient as hell with it.

...guy yells: "Work, you damn nag!" at his fucking horse repeatedly. Fuck that kid.
 
Max Payne was best when he needed to take a shit. That game is still one of my favorites the setting and atmosphere were perfect, might give that a run through soon.

Having played Uncharted recently I can say that Nathan Drake is a terrible human being.
 
My pick is CJ from San Andreas. He's a very boring character to play as.
 
I loved Far Cry 3 but hated the character I played with and his friends and family and didn't care for them at all. Horrible characters, but fun game otherwise.
 
All the jabronies in the Assassins Creed franchise.

I bought FFX because I heard how awesome it was.

Tidus was amazingly annoying. Every character's voiceacting was bad, even for a videogame of that era, but Tidus's was on another level.

After the Blitzball game with the stupid laughing scene with him and the love interest, I literally turned the game off and took the game back to exchange for instore credit.

Only game I've ever returned due to annoying characters and horrible voiceacting.
 
My vote goes for the aforementioned AC jabronies and Nathan Drake.
 
Kratos, also at first i didnt like Alan Wake but he grew on me a lot.
