Those LOTR films could possibly 3-peat and win the polls from 2001-2003. The only other movie trilogy that could do that would be the Nolan's Batman

I've seen The Dark Knight Rises get a lot of hate on here. I would be a bit surprised if it won.

Dr. Dre's brutal acting ruined Training Day for me.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back - the juvenile in me still roars at that movie.

LOTR wins easy here. Black Hawk Down probably edged into second place.

I've seen thirteen of the poll choices, but none really stand out to me as being favorites. A "meh" year for me.

LOTR is easily the dumbest and worst, though. All CGI flash and no substance.

I have never once seen any of the Lord of Rings, Hobbits, Star Wars, Star Trek movies etc... My brain has always rejected that kind of thing for some reason.

Black Hawk Down and Training Day for me.

Shocked and appalled 'The Royal Tenenbaums' wasn't included in the poll.

''Y Tu Mama Tambien'', the best movie I've seen depicting the end of adolescence. It was marketed horribly as a ''scandalous'' movie with gratitious sex scenes, when in fact it's a very deep and profound movie.

I agree, I never understood the love for LOTR.

Hey @shadow_priest_x, you should do the ultimate film of the 90's and 2000's... After the 2016 poll of course. You could have them face off to find out the best film on Sherdog.

The 90s poll just went up.

When we're done, I'm either going to put the winners of each decade against each other, or go all out and put EVERY year winner into an elimination tournament. We'll see.

1. Lord of the Rings
2. Mulholland Drive
3. The Man Who Wasn't There
4. Zoolander
5. Brotherhood of the Wolves
6. Training Day
7. Intacto
8. Kiss of the Dragon
9. A Knights Tale
10. Enemy at the Gates

In contention: Black Hawk Down, Dagon, Atilla, Spy Game

Need to rewatch AI.
