Your favorite fighters that everyone hates?

Honda and Coner. I was 100% cut-off from any form of media during their rise so only saw them in-cage. And it was truly a thing of beauty. Of course they eventually fell off like all athletes but the body of work remains. Both would have benefited from growing their MMA arsenal but fame took their attention and focus away, I think.

Looking back now, I see how the over-the-top media hype and hyperbole, and out-of-cage behavior, eventually turned the tides of popularity against them.

Along those lines, I liked O’Malley in-cage early in his career. Haven’t really watched his fights recently but doesn’t seem like he grew his arsenal either. I also see the same type of backlash happening outside the cage as the above two, and him being distracted by non-fighting opportunities.

This guy, what's not to like? Young, confident, hot, milf of a wife. Tall, rangy, white, handsome (no homo). I could go on lol. The most hated of the hated. Gracious in defeat and a student of the game. Long career ahead of him and he will continue to grow and evolve.

Put simply, he is a cuck. His wife wrote a book "how to be a wag" a wag being basically a woman who seduces upandcoming athletes to take their money. Not only that but he lives with his wifes ex husband who works as his nutritionist. Also he is not humble at all he literally said he was the most deserving of a title shot off of losing to an injured Shavkat.

3 of which are the same guy, 2 of which are by another guy, 1 of which is by Prime Conor Mcgregor, and there was a MASSIVE winstreak between 3rd and 4th loss. This idea that having losses means your a worse fighter is insane to me.

Hard to think of anyone I hate that everyone else doesn't also hate. Does Edson Barboza count? He's one of my favorites and I don't know if people "hate" him per se but some complain he is too one dimensional and way past his prime and should hang it up.

Charles got outclassed by a fighter who beat him at his own game, easily

Volk was going up a weight class in the first and had an extremely competitive fight, and he took the second on short notice.

Jon Fitch - I always enjoyed the fact that here's this average dude who just works super hard and exploits the shit out of MMA rules to get lots of victories. Can't make a name or build any fans because nobody wants to fight him and UFC fans were extremely anti-wrestling.

Josh Koscheck - wasn't hated by everybody but I think more often than not. The TUF shit didn't make him look good, the whole Paul Daley debacle, etc. There was a fun time though when Kos abandoned all wrestling and just chucked haymakers.

Brandon Vera - This was once a hot prospect with some fun Muay Thai for a HW/LHW but truly never lived down saying he was going to be a 2 division champ.

lol at these mental gymnastics Charles at least made it halfway into the second round Volk got KTFO halfway through the first round and we have no way of knowing how a second Charles vs Islam fight would go so it's dumb to compare. Plus it was bad decision making by Volk and his team to take that second fight anyway. It's so easy to push the narrative in the direction i want. lol just like you are doing.
