There have been many people who tried to become champions in two weight divisions in the UFC and failing.

There are also a bunch of champions that became champion in one division but tried and could not become achieve championship status in two weight classes:

    1) Israel Adesanya
    2) Lyoto Machida
    3) RDA
    4) TJ Dillashaw
    5) Dustin Poitier (interim at 155 but failed at 145)
    6) Robert Whittaker
    7) Frankie Edgar
    8) Demeterious Johnson ( got pwnt by Cruz)
    9) Jose Aldo
    10) Luke Rockhold
    11) Chris Weidman
    12) Anderson Silva ( got smothered by DC )

These are all people that have in 2 or more divisions but was only able to become champ in one of them. They either were not able to take on bigger man or smaller men.

Not to mention too many fighters scared to even try. Champ Champ status is rare, so rare only a few modern fighters can lay claim to it.

    Amanda Nunes
    Henry Cejudo
    Daniel Cormier
    Conor “Notorious” McGregor”
    GSP

These are the GOAT level fighters.

Not the hardest achievement when the promotion is handing out second-title-shots like candy

Only if you go up. Going down and beating on smaller fighters isn’t admirable

    Haha, no it's fucking not.

There is nothing inherently more difficult about winning title fight a than winning title fight b, especially when opportunities are handed out just as much for popularity than actual achievement

Taking a look at the like fifty other Conor posts he's made this month, it's obvious he doesn't actually believe this shit.

Silva vs DC was a non title fight on days notice, full camp Silva would had been trouble for anyone holding LHW belt.

Its become not that impressive, because some champions are given the oppurtunity to go for a 2nd and others arent.

No, in my opinion defending the belt for an extended period of time is the hardest thing to do. Winning a second belt, while a good accomplishment, can be just as simple as just having a favorable match up. Now if somebody wins two belts and defends both for a while, that’s probably the hardest thing a fighter could really do.

Anderson Silva could've been a champ champ easy but he was never given the opportunity. Same with Aldo back in his prime, definitely could've beaten Pettis.

It’s def up there. There’s been what like only 6 people in the history of the UFC to hold two belts?

it’s an impressive thing to have on your resume.

At least this Conor troll can write more than one sentence at a time, I'll give him credit for that.

    Fedor says hi.

Becoming champ champ is a unique and amazing achievement but has nothing to do with being the goat. IMO You need to clean your division and accumulate a long streak of wins to get there. Preferably title defenses.

I love DC and GSP but being a two division champ isn’t a prerequisite for goat conversion.

You know, that TS is gay right? Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just, you know.

And if Hendo doesn’t count in your list/logic, it’s flawed.
