You know what’s impressive about GSP

2 out of 3 is still a win. Sherdog play by 9lay isn't an accredit ring side judge licensed and select by any athletic commission. I challenge you to go back and watch without Rogan and Goldie injecting their adjectives and superlatives. You may change your mind regarding the outcome.
Well you brought up history with a matter of fact attitude and you failed to remember it was a split.

Explain this. Most of these people were there live.

None of those are judges. I don't understand why you would quote 'journalists' to make your point. I have yet to see a fight decision overturned because internet reporters dididn't agree with the outcome.
Correct me if I'm wrong. Do you realize that less people voted for Trump than Hillary, yet he still won?

I just proved that the vast majority of those who watched it live and on TV scored it for hendricks. GSP got the decison by 2 of 3 judges but the vast majority disagree. It happens. He got the shit beat through him and lost the physical fight, just got a highly controversial decison win. It is what it is.

Also American politics are irrelevant.

I used the American politics analogy to show that all systems controlled by human decisions are fallible.
Believe me, had Hendricks been given the decision, I personally wouldn't have been outraged, but the decision made ny the judges wasn't wrong either. Hendricks needed to win the fight, not just keep up with GSP, and GSP just had to make sure that Hendricks didn't win, which he did. Personally, I would have preferred a rematch myself.

Out of GSPs 28 fights, 9 of them have been against cans. So lets not act like hes never had any showcase fights. If you want to consider Matt Hughes in the second fight a can (some will, some wont) then thats 10 fights against cans.

I doubt there is a single UFC fan, even on Sherdog, that would consider Matt Hughes a can. GSP fought 6 or 7 cans, at the most.

DC would agree with me.

Martial arts is about finishes. GSP is the poster boy of point-fighting and was a decision machine during his prime. His easy-pick at MW, followed by the biggest ducking in MMA history make his accomplishments dubious and unworthy.

Clearly you are not a fan. That is OK. To say Martial Arts is about finishes is completely ignorant. Most Martial Arts are for self defense or competition.
Where do you get your source of knowledge? You sound like an idiot bashing one of the most successful human beings on the planet. He does what He wants, when He wants, and offends no one but his ignorant haters.
He is everything a Mixed Martial Artist should aspire to be. I'm not the only person that thinks this. You must be deaf, I've heard so many people on live broadcast saying the same thing.
What do you have against the Man? What did he do so wrong that makes you downplay every one of his achievements?

it's about finishes.

Most successful human beings in the planet....a cage fighter? GTFO.

So GSP comes back after a long layoff and finishes the champ of the higher division and becomes the champ, a big accomplishment for shre
But what’s even bigger accomplishment is that GSP is still a great mixed martial artist

Fedor and Silva, while good but they were never really complete mixed martial artists which is why they can’t win no more. GSP was the best mixed martial artist we’ve ever seen and ahead of everyone, takes a huge layoff and comes back and is still a very good mixed martial artist so he can still win at the highest levels

No.
I think it is different.
Silva's game depended on his speed.
WIth age, he is not as fast, so he lost his biggest weapon.

Fedor fought guys bigger than him. He was better than them, and that helped him.
But once he is fighting well rounded guys who are not afraid of his aura of invincibility anymore, thats a huge factor.

The only other fight would have been Woodley or McG.
McG either wont fight, or has too many options in the mix, and he's llighte and needs a win.
Woodley had zero popularity at the time and you could make the case that that would have been a boring fight/matchup.
What we had with the Bisping fight was a seriously entertaining fight for the championship.

I am talking in a real view on this sport and what makes fighter the best especially when there's talks who's more GOATness which eliminates fun service and leaves the sportsmanship in his pure form .

Bisping was easy fight lol . His legasy didn't get anything with this fake title fight .

But it wasn't easy.

GSP was sick going into this, coming off a long lay off, and was moving up in weight class. None of these things are easy.

Title fight or not, Bisping is still a tough Top 10 fighter.
