You guys saying: "I don't blame conor" are beyond hilarious

This is the guy that talked more shit than literally anyone in the UFC

He said anyone anyplace anytime

He went on a world tour with Aldo

He made the moves he needed to make to get noticed inside and outside the UFC

He fucking trended on Facebook and Twitter for both the Aldo and Diaz fight.

He made himself the Main event of the supposed greatest card in UFC history (which is looking worse by the minute without his fight on it)

I blame him

I blame him for letting down his fans, for which he unfortunately has many

Conor went out not with a bang, but with a whimper

It's disgusting behaivor for a supposed elite martial artist to exhibit.

Anderson and GSP and Fedor never did and never would pull this shit.

Keep making excuses for this guy, Conor fans.

Eventually you'll see his true character.

Business comes first. One day you'll realize that.

Love how the connor fans attacked aldo for being against the first world tour saying it was draining etc but now justify connor for skipping out of a tour date
Aldo didn't deserve to.make the big bucks since he wasn't willing to promote.
This situation is somehow different. I won't tell you why right now - but just know that Conner foes everyting for a reason.

If I signed a commitment contract & reneged on it, then I would be in the wrong as well.
That is not really debatable.
He just signed a new contract & signed the Diaz fight agreement.
He is 100% in the wrong on this (if he told Zuffa in writing that he will not fulfill the first press day obligations)

I am a Conor fan, but this is on him

On him in what way though? He decided he wants more money, they said no, so he's not going to fight.

That's the end of it. He's not pulling out the day before, the event can still happen, he hasn't ruined another fighters payday... He just wants what he think he's worth.

If the UFC are happy to let him go than this is the end of it.

I am sure Nate Diaz disagrees with the bold part!

AGAIN - he already agreed to the terms. He is not on a 10/10 contract.
This fight was made & terms agreed on within the past month.
He is 100% in the wrong.

This is a simple clash of personalities, babies on here are embarrassing themselves.

Conor is at the stage he won't do something if he doesn't want to, Dana is extremely uncomfortable with not being away to dictate the terms, this time he has decided to put his foot down, both parties will lose huge amounts of money, the UfC will lose $100's of millions in the long run if this doesn't get settled.

It's about ego's, I'm sure something will be worked out once tempers are cooled.

What's all the blame for and not blaming him? Bit confused by the original post.

And he could fight clean or fight new drugs. Whole point is to avoid the charge in the first place. Not to beat USADA forever.

You really think a guy that never tested bad before will risk losing his biggest payday ever?

Long stretch

Conor fans are so funny

They stare logic and reason right in the face and say

"BUT CONOR IS IN THE RIGHT"

Conor is a liar and a fraud

Nuhuggers gonna hug but everyone will see the light eventually

Guy is a joke now. I'm not a Dana fan by any means, but i'm glad he's letting him know he's not calling his own shots.....even though he has been letting him do that... They're both jokes.

Nate is still fighting.

Conor is in no way in the wrong. There is no right or wrong here. It's fight or no fight. This has zero impact on any other person but him. He's not a doctor refusing to perform surgery or a guy who built half a house and is now demanding more money to complete it. He's a prize fighter who decided he wasn't getting enough money to fight.

He signed a bout agreement. He's decided he wants to renegotiate the agreement. UFC don't want to renegotiate. The agreement doesn't force him to compete so he isn't going to. There's no moral obligation to fight. It's a job he's cancelling.

At the end of the day it's up to the UFC if he's worth renegotiating with.

To be fair, IDK if the guy I was discussing it with is a Conor nuthugger.
Came across as more of a "fuck the man" type.

I don't blame him if it's a matter of principal between employer/employee. As much as I've grown to respect Conor, his win over Aldo is fluky as hell to me (he earned it but only one exchange of punches in a FW title fight? It's not HW!). A great contribution to the sport but I never saw him as GOAT. My bitter old posts back that up, lol.

If you truly think that someone who does not live up to a voluntarily signed commitment (that was just recently signed) is not wrong than I refuse to engage any further with you.

I severely doubt that if you hired a contractor to do X amount of work for Z amount of money & then a few weeks late tell you he wants more money - that you think he is "in no way wrong"

Have a good day!

Sorry Brah, I saw a bunch of guys in multiple threads saying "i don't blame conor for x y and z" and I came up with the OP

This guy Conor has exposed himself, is he gonna start a plumbing company now?

A week ago his teammate fought a guy who later died from injuries sustained in the fight. Conor was on film celebrating his teammates win. Since that time he's been trashed in the Irish and Portuguese media.

Now after going through that, If the UFC came to you and said 'come promote your cagefight', would you do it?

Ariel has implied this is the real reason he's not doing it.

And no. Even if he wanted more money I'd support him. If he doesn't want to fight for what he's offered he shouldn't. Just like you wouldn't go to work if you were being underpaid TS.

I "retired" last week for the same reason (Zuffa are generous compare to some employers). Although I wasn't making 'Conor money' so now need another job...

Its just buisness
Conor used that tour to help launch himself..now hes there he doesnt wanna endure another

Nobody's asking him to do another tour, they're just asking him to attend a press conference that he would have known about in advance and everybody else is attending.
