When you put it like that, yes, he is a piece of shit cheater.
 
Yoel will do just about anything to win. His moral compass is aimed at the gold and nothing else. The rules are just in his way. He's a piece of shit.

So many fighters do these things over the years but only 2 actually get heat for it. Everyone will bend the rules and it's the refs job to impose those rules.
Stalling, outstretched fingers, too much water, Vaseline . 2nds out. Etc. It happens on every card. Even boxers bend the rules. Holding excessive, holding and hitting , repeated low blows on purpose.
Many of the all time greats being those tools out when need be.

1. Romero with his potpourri of of infractions and2. bones eyepokes.
When in reality about everyone does that. And such a problem a rule was made. UFC and eyepokes go hand in hand.
In pride you never saw that. Maybe there gloves should be copied.
So those things I look at like they're playing the game, bending the rules.

I would say cheating is when
GSP was greasing and didn't get much flack. Many opponents said this after they fought him and was even doing it between rounds.
Now that is blatant cheating.

If you are a safety first grappler there is no better way to cheat than what gsp did.

Dudes a beast, pushes the limits.
If the fans of Jones were able to ignore his intentional eye pokes during his peak of popularity, where the occurrences did impact the fights, I'm willing to overlook Romero's boundary pushing antics.
 
I give the girl a warning before the thumb, but no way that I let her escape. Its coming in want it or not!

Because it had nothing to do with Yoel. It was the cut man that put too much vasolene on him, and Big John made them come and wipe it off. Did Yoel take full advantage of the situiation? You are goddamn right, but it was def no automatic DQ as some people pretend it should ahve been. he answered the next round when he was told to in the end.
 
Yeah, Yoel is a dirty bastard. Its only a matter of time with how old he is... I predict his downfall (in the next 1-2 years) will be full of KO losses
