Is the GFL actually going to happen?
It sounds like someone is just throwing names around, I wonder if any contracts have been actually signed.
Reminds of a while ago when some guy tried to put together an MMA tournament between Strongmen Brian Shaw, Eddie Hall, Mitchell Hooper and Martyn Ford (not a strongman but big guy). That fell apart because they didn't get paid, contracts were broken, etc...
It feels like the GFL is going to end up being the same thing

Darren Owens is behind GFL and he does have a legit mma promoter background, but I can’t imagine he has the money backing him to actually pull this off as advertised. If I remember correctly he used to run small regional mma shows in Canada?
