Yoel Romero is too small for LHW

Dana suggested him moving up to LHW. Where is a reason why he choose be middleweight - he's only 180 cm tall, so fighting Gustafsson (195 cm tall) would be challenge.

He haven't fought as LHW since 2011, so if he moves up and gets to fight top guys - I doubt that he will be as dangerous.

It's not really about height, DC is the same height as Yoel.

But yeah, he would definitely weigh less than Gus. I think Yoel starts his cut to MW at around 210, while Gus is probably a solid 15-20 pounds heavier.

Yoel is not even 180 cm. 5"10 tops (177 cm). About the same height as Cormier.

But Gustafsson's training partner Latifi is only 5"9 and is 7-3 at LHW.

Well the record seem to have him around 183cm (6'0) for whatever thats worth.

He had no problem at all with Luke Rockhold who is 6'3, not many LHW are taller than that, Gustaffson is really an exception but he's also one of the best fighters in the division.

It must be tempting if Romero is offered the Gustaffson fight as its basically a #1 contender fight and DC may never come back, but it also a tough fight. I think he'll want to stay at 185.
