Probably the top 5, no matter how you want to arrange it. Islam if he ends up beating Arman and then someone like say, Topuria might end up in this discussion. Another belt could help too. Volk is similarly so, if he can beat Lopes and then defends vs Evloev he's right up in the discussion. DDP if he beats Khamzat will start carving out a case, would still have more work to do but it's been a hell of a UFC run however sloppy it may have looked. I dont think anyone else currently has a big shot at getting their name onto the list, maybe if Topuria shocks us and beats an Oliveira/Gaethje and then upsets Islam but his 145lb run was so short lived it felt a little ducksauce..

That's one hell of a list! Perfect as I see it.

Pretty good honorable mentions, though I think Volk may be out if he doesn't avenge the Topuria loss, since I do not think he's washed yet.

GSP promised to defend if he gets Bisping and didn’t just like many predicted. He also refused to get Hendricks a rematch after that controversial decision most people he lost.

GSP wanted nothing to do with Silva as well.

You can’t bash Jones for doing what GSP taught him.

First of all, he already defended the belt, which is more than GSP ever did.

Secondly, everyone complains about fighter pay, then the second the HW champ says “ya, I’ll unify the belt, just pay me”, people call him a duck.

Jones knows his worth, and knows how big the fight could be. If the UFC wants the fight, they can pay him.
