Yan Zhi Cheng's 97 inch vertical jump???

Would besmirch Cain with 2 months of full-time training. A-level athlete right there.

Haven't you guys ever watched Ninja Warrior? Those Asians are legit.

Jesus, guys, how did none of you immediately spot a misconversion?

166cm is 65.5", not 97". It's totally believable. The high jump world record is 245cm, or 96.5".

But this guy is claiming 246cm, still more than the record.

Haha, self-pwnage, I've long been familiar with box jump vids and numbers (in/cm) and I literally thought I read that number twice over, and it was 166. I'm starting to see shit. LOL, yeah, it's obviously total bullshit.

I need to go to sleep.

"He used two legs to set off, so his jump isn't the official world record."

What does that exactly mean? People high jump with one leg?

You spotted the bullshit. A two-legged jump is the standard for a vertical leap, and in a vertical leap you are not allowed to tuck your knees (as in a box jump).

Old circus tradition.

Box Jumps are not vertical leaps. When will people understand this?

This. Happened. You all need to accept that reality is not as you have conceived.

anyone who believes this is a fool.

i have the same vertical..............................

What is the actual World Record for standing vertical jump?

We're talking about a high jump. Not a standing vertical, not a running vertical, not a box jump.

This is the record high jump. It's 8+ feet. Not an outrageous claim.
