Mouse is awesome. Most people don't realize it because he doesn't talk a lot of shit.

This is a grand experiment to see how long a fighter can dominate his weight class while still remaining outside the view of the PPV buying casuals.

I expect when he gets his record over Anderson Silva that he might move up a weight class & how can such thingz be ignored?

We'll see. Realistically, he could move up & dominate yet another weight class & still not be able to sell more than 100,000 PPV's. It's a shame the casualz don't recognize what he bringz.

In your original convo he was trying to explain how shit talking wouldnt work the same way it worked with Conor because Flyweight was brand new division with no previous champs or established high end fighters for Dj to make his name off of were as with Conor you have a young up and comer with a loud mouth from Ireland calling out all the division top fighters and established dominant champ. The UFC had a lot more to work with in Conor which is why it worked for him. People are gonna wanna see Conor fight because they are gonna wanna see if he can truly back up his shit talk against these already established fighters and champ. With Dj they are building the division from the ground up and him shit talking fighters he is fully expected to beat wouldnt work as well.

You've stepped in the middle of a lengthy conversation & you don't understand how it progressed. He is in no way talking about a new division. I do because I am an MMA fan and not prejudiced against smaller fighters. Actually, I don't even think his detractors are prejudiced against smaller fighters. They seem to enjoy 135 and similarly sized fighters to Mighty Mouse. They are just confused and parrot stuff they read without even thinking about it. They were probably the same people calling Greg Jackson a sport killer back in 2011 and complaining about point fighters. Meanwhile, his fighters were racking up performance bonuses every event. I wish new fans to MMA would stop being misled by these idiots.
