Hes easily the best fighter in all of MMA right now and an all time great. Amazing how many beta neckbeards rip on him because they know someone smaller than them would kick their ass.
You said "what's Mouse going to do talk shit to a 10:1 underdog." lol... You were clearly illuding to the idea that Mouse's competition waz so beneith him that he couldn't legitimately talk sh*t.Huh?.
I said he carries the division, not that nobody else is talented. Wilson Reis is a black belt in bjj which is a great skill to have but it means fuck all to PPV sales.
but he is a huge underdog. I was just stating a fact. That doesn't mean he isn't talented. It just means people think Demetrious will win.You said "what's Mouse going to do talk shit to a 10:1 underdog." lol... Nothing would change if he talked shit. Look at the complaints. It is all about how he is too good and has no competition. How would shit talking change any of that? We already think he will win. Him reaffirming that with a bunch of cuss words would make no difference. It's the challenger's job to convince us they can win. That's how you drum up interest when you are an underdog like Reis is.You said "what's Mouse going to do talk shit to a 10:1 underdog." lol... Our entire discussion waz about whether Conor's sh*t talk woke up the casuals to the FW division (& Mouse could do the same if he sh*t talked) and your side waz that Conor being a big contender to Aldo's belt along with Aldo's impressive run. You said that Aldo waz mostly responsible for the Aldo/ McGregor fight getting a million PPV's. I said it's Conor's shit talking... & that Mouse could get a lot more attention if he shit talked. You then came back with that saying I started with... which was dissing the entire division under Mouse... & then you went on to tell someone else how deep the division is.

He never said 125 was deep. He was calling out an idiot poster for trying to compare Ronda's competition to Dj's.You said "what's Mouse going to do talk shit to a 10:1 underdog." lol... You've been discussing thingz with a lot of people in this thread so maybe you don't remember my particular discussion but I do. I think you were just trolling me a bit to be honest. Everyone knows that sh*t talking sells fights & that the only way anyone even knows about the FW division is because of Conor... not Aldo... despite Aldo's impressive run. Why don't the casuals know about Aldo? Because he's not a sh*t talker either.
Anywayz... it's been a few laughs. Rock on bro.... & much love for your monumental 100K post count. History haz been made!
This is where boxing fans have MMA fans beat.
Chocolatito is 5'3 yet highly regarded in boxing and isn't scrutinized over his size.
I saw a Max Holloway thread the other day where he sorta trash talked Aldo and all the comments were along the lines of "he should shut up" and "stop embarrassing yourself." It doesn't go over well when it's forced.Mouse isn't a shit-talker though. That's Conor and Chael and those other guys things. Their really good at it. Mouse could try his best and it would come off bad.
So whatever you want DJ to be he isn't. What we do have with DJ is someone who might break records and become one of the greatest of all time. That's what he brings to the table.
Demetrious is one of the most discussed fighters on sherdog for what it's worth. The guy gets debated in 10 page topics all the time.
Good. I think a lot of people suffer from the spiral of silence around here.I do my part to drum up interest in him.
I'm more like a pebble. And yet you are, relative to everything, even less than a grain of sand.
I also hate the Mixed Martial Arts aspect of Mixed Martial Arts.If I only cared about commitment, technique, ability... I would watch women's golf and the WNBA.
I want tip jams and devastating knockouts
Besides, I already support Tyrion Lannister, what more do you want?
That's great that you say that now... but you also said that the whole division waz a 10:1 underdog against him & waz so benieth him that they weren't even worthy of talking sh*t to... then you went on to tell someone else about how stacked the division is.but he is a huge underdog. - Wilson Reis is a bjj black belt with a a win over a top 10 bantamweight.
- Joseph Benavidez was a top 3 BW and title contender in two weight divisions.
- Henry Cejudo is an Olympic gold medalist who arguably beat Joseph Benavidez.
- John Dodson beat TJ Dillashaw and was a top 10 fighter in two weight divisions.
- Kyoji Horiguchi was 12-1 at BW with that one loss coming by way of majority decision to a top 10 BW in his seventh pro fight.
- Ali Bagautinov is a sambo champ and defeated a top 5 BW.
- Chris Cariaso beat a top 10 BW and fought to a split with another.
Just because you don't know who these fighters are doesn't mean they suck.
All well & good, but he was making a point to someone else about how talented the division is.He never said 125 was deep. He was calling out an idiot poster for trying to compare Ronda's competition to Dj's.
The poster I responded to said DJ was beating up a bunch of unskilled weekend warriors. I listed their credentials and accomplishments to refute that ridiculous claim. I don't see what any of that has to do with them being underdogs. That's great that you say that now... but you went on to tell someone else about how stacked the division is.
So which is it? Is the division stacked or is everyone a 10:1 underdog who are so beneith Mouse that it wouldn't make sense for him to talk sh*t to?
Obviously everyone is not even close to a 10:1 underdog. Start out & explain your statement there if you like... & then try & explain why you told someone else how stacked the division is.

Mouse is awesome. Most people don't realize it because he doesn't talk a lot of shit.
This is a grand experiment to see how long a fighter can dominate his weight class while still remaining outside the view of the PPV buying casuals.
I expect when he gets his record over Anderson Silva that he might move up a weight class & how can such thingz be ignored?
We'll see. Realistically, he could move up & dominate yet another weight class & still not be able to sell more than 100,000 PPV's. It's a shame the casualz don't recognize what he bringz.
