Bro, the whole point of the thread was to convey my disgust towards these blind supporters who make predictions without even knowing one half of the fight itself.
If you know both fighters and have a thorough understanding of who Eddie is (watched his career) then you are totally in position to make a prediction. If your prediction happens to then be Conor inside of 1 or 2 rounds, then I can accept that and if you're correct in the end I will give you full credit for calling the winner. What I won't do is sit back and let a bunch of idiots comment on threads with shit like "it'll be done in 1", when they have absolutely no idea who Eddie even is. Names like Aoki and Chandler are established to you and I, but all these fairweathers and newbies have no idea who they are and therefore have no idea how good Eddie is.
The whole point of the thread was to somewhat come off smug, because I'm just sitting back and shaking my head at the state of MMA today. Dudes following a sport for one man only, it's embarrassing.
I stand by the original claim, most people who picked Conor knew minimal to nothing about Eddie and therefore their genius prediction is just tainted.
To everyone who knew both fighters thoroughly and have followed their careers, and still picked Conor, well done, great prediction.
