How is Zabit’s health? I remember that being an issue, haven’t heard anymore news regarding that. The word "deserve" is always weird to throw around in MMA but Yair ducked Zabit more than once (to the point of being released), pulled out of multiple fights with him, got suspended by USADA, last person he beat was Stephens coming off two losses, hasn't fought in 2 years and is somehow rewarded with a fight against the no.1 contender. All that while they threw Zabit out of the rankings too (who fought more recently than Yair).

he was most hated person in UFC before J-Sterl """won""" belt against Yan. I hate them both equally
Interesting. If Topuria gets past Evloev, which I hope he does, that’d be a fun fight to see.The Georgian who finished Ryan Hall has been mentioning his name to fight next. I'm assuming it's on the come up.
Hey Gunnar when are we going to see you back in action? Are you retired? There is a chance that he hurts Max early. He´s quite dangerous with his kicks. Max starts slow as well. First two and half rounds are vital for the match and who wins.
I think he had the surgery he needed after it being postponed. Originally the news were that this surgery will determine if he's able to continue and was one of the major reasons why he'd gas at the end of the fight. His coach Mark Henry posted recently that Zabit is back. I'd love to see Zabit and KZ go at it. Good fight for both (I still treat Zabit as a ranked Top 5 FW).How is Zabit’s health? This is what I was going to type, this isn't really a positive thing since Max most likely batters him. It's more like a punishment fight like they tried to do with Nate vs Khamzat. Yeah Yair may be able to pull off an upset and win, but he most likely loses to Max. Max's strengths are Yair's weaknesses.Probably has more to do with Max needing new blood to beat up. Maybe it’s punishment for Yairs antics since he’s gonna take the beating of a lifetime.
It requires more than one whereabouts violation to get suspended. It requires multiple whereabouts violations.Remember when Yair was suspended by USADA about a year or so ago? It wasn't a failed test, but a whereabouts violation. They tried to contact him on multiple occasions, but he wasn't turning up anywhere and Dana got all smug about it. The assumption was there was some cartel happenings and such. Not sure how valid it was, but that was the narrative being painted.
Im depressed ever since Conor ditched me for Dillon Danis. I mean, look at his career after he stopped training with me. Nowadays, my daily life consist of taking care of my kids and eating reindeer meat mate.Hey Gunnar when are we going to see you back in action? Are you retired?
Anyone else find it weird how Yair ducks his way to being released, only to pull out of more fights and go AWOL for drug testing, then gets booked vs. Max? Not only that, but dude doesn't seem to do any press to promote the fight. Is his management just Ali level or are UFC brass just desperate for more potential leverage into the Mexico market (they already have Moreno as champ)?

I think the UFC books Yair strong because he has an exciting fighting style and a good resume.
So kind of like Max?On Nov. 18, Yair will have 1 win in 3 years and is somehow still ranked #3 at FW.
Technically max has 3 wins in the past 3 years. Not to mention going to ultra thin decision with the reigning champ. So kind of like Max?
