LOL this seems to be the consensus sentiment. I'm happy to see Yair get his ass kicked Saturday, but I guess I was focused most on the high ranked fight after such a long and dramatic layoff.

Anyone else find it weird how Yair ducks his way to being released, only to pull out of more fights and go AWOL for drug testing, then gets booked vs. Max? Not only that, but dude doesn't seem to do any press to promote the fight. Is his management just Ali level or are UFC brass just desperate for more potential leverage into the Mexico market (they already have Moreno as champ)?

Yair deserved this fight. Gotta give respect, what a war and what heart by both Yair and Max. Made the "best boxer" have to use the full MMA toolbox to win against who everyone thought was just a flashy kickboxer. Didn't wilt under pressure. Fight of the year for me.
