I bet on Cejudo. It pissed me off, why couldn’t he just take Yadong down and gnp/lnp him for 3.5 or 4 rounds. Yadong only scored nominally better on the feet

The eyepoke was bad, cejudo ran into the gloves of yadoong. It wasnt really intentional, but cejudo just quit! Wtf

Really poor refereeing in the conclusion. The advising to run into the fourth to go to the cards… it’s just none of his business to advise the governing of the fighters to seek a result other than no contest. Super flagrant double finger eye poke that caused bleeding in Henry’s left eye. Ridiculous handling.

And then proceeding to chase with his fingers out after. Fuck Song. He should not have gotten a win for that.

i think accident or not eye pokes and bad groin shots should be immediate point reduction. like not to say its automatically intentional. more so to say it has enough chance to significantly change the out come of the entire fight that it should result in a round loss if it happens. I think these accidents would happen less if that was the case and we would have scenarios like this. there wasn't a winner in that fight yet song moves ahead in his career like he did. this imo is a sceanrio where you can say illegal strikes are technically legal and you'd be stupid not to try a few in each fight if you dont get a dq or point loss.

Henry's takedowns have always been terrible in MMA. If you were expecting him to dominate via wrestling then you obviously didn't do your homework.

1). Eye pokes merit point deduction.

2). Henry was getting melted before the pokes and it’s pretty obvious that after his 5 minute break that he understood there was no way he could win….
