The biggest misconception by wrestling fans is that when non wrestling fans lables it as fake, the wrestling fans think theyre dismissing the hard work they put in.
Wrestlers works theyre ass off to produce some of the most white trash product thats known to human kind. Its a trash soap opera with live stunts. Its not for everyone.....

To be fair MMA is not old enough to determine how long fighters will last. I don't think it's gonna be pretty when they get old enough.

They have high pain tolerance and are generally tough SOBs
They don't have the technical aptitude of MMArtists obviously, but they can more than hold their own in a fight, just not on the professional levels

He did pro wrestling before he did MMA. He did not say it as a joke he said it after his UFC tournament win in 1997. His showmanship and creative fighting style show the influence it had on him.

Its not the same. Fighters can choose to take off as much time as they want to heal from injuries. Wrestling,not so much.
