WW champion Tyron Woodley: "Khabib would be my toughest fight in the UFC"

Laughable. There are weight classes for a reason. Tyrone is super powerful WW, trying to setup a fight with a guy much smaller than him who relies on his physical strength. Woodley is not a world beater yet. He needs to be taking fights against actual contenders.

That's exactly what he's saying. Woodley ain't trying to fight someone who brings the pressure. He's gotten comfortable being boring as fuck. Must be a WW champ thing.
 
This is a way to avoid fighting anyone in the WW division, acting like nobody is in his league, and everyone has to go through wonderboy or some shit.

Not sure if Khabib is big enough to be effective with his style at that weight.

I’d think Till and Covington are tough matchups for him. Till probably the toughest due to his size and stand up game. Till’s toughest opponent is Thompson imo, so we’ll see how that goes.
 
I would say GSP, since he has better striking to go with the strong wrestling... but I would be shocked if I was to agree with TWood on anything. Is normal.

Woodley walks 205 bro, have you seen the dude? Khabib should stick to 155lbs when you look at the size of the guys at 170, if you aren't atleast 190lbs in the cage you will be at a disadvantage, Khabib game is about wrestling as well which won't translate vs bigger guys unlike RDA who's an all arounder.

Lol. Pretty sure most of the MW top ten, all of the LHW top ten and most of the HW top 50 would stop him with ease.

Robbie Lawler did exactly what Luke Rockhold did when he lost to Bisping when he lost to Woodley and fucked up the whole division. Now we have a champion who plays the safe route in fights and doesn't take on the true contenders.
 
If he's being honest...fuuuck that is horrifying. Tyron is a beast and has a few hard counters to Khabib's style imo. Still that's high praise.
