I don't know about that, most of the evidence seems to be pointing toward disgusting animal treatment habits, eating/fellating/whatever infected bats and/or pangolins, etcetera. Could be a man-made virus, but seems more likely to be related to vile animal rights abuses.

Condensate drain. You'd still need suction to get the reversal of the drain which might be possible based on how it run or under a condition where a siphon is created but it would be an engineering marvel.

Use a bandanna or go into a hospital and ask for a couple of surgical masks. In hospitals/clinics here they have boxes where you can just grab a few. Bring hand sanitizer on your flight if you can and use it liberally.
