How Canada is preparing for coronavirus cases

Canada's top Health Officials want to make it perfectly clear.

"The Risk is extremely low for Canadians..."

They are battling fear and misinformation popping up on Social media.

Officials say we are prepared to quickly detect and stop the
virus from spreading

Lessons learned from the SARS outbreak in 2993...

Well, it’s as feared. I have no doubt that this is a bio weapon, and that’s why China is freaking out.

was it created to mutate as it spreads?

Our government officials seek to think so.

and here’s China’s military setting up another camp. How many of these have been set up? How many places converted in makeshift hospitals?

I saw that military camp video a few days ago so it's definitely not new. Still scary.

It takes a full 14 days before people show symptoms. In an interview I posted today, the cats outta the bag. This came from their bio weapons lab. It’s created to be easy to spread and difficult to stop
I believe this more and more.

The virus has infected tens of thousands, not tens of millions. So they authorites could be a lot more competent and sensible in how they deal with this. But this is the country that killed 60 million of its citizens and thinks nothing of smashing people, so China going to China.
Exactly! They are disposing these poor people to die, or have a miraculous recovery apparently without any help. As usual, with every single authoritarian government, they care only about themselves and saving face. This is their Chernobyl.

LOL @ "tens of thousands"

You are aware that close to 200,000 are in "observational quarantine" alone right? If they are living with their nuclear family of three, that means they will probably infect their parents, spouse and kid. Hospitals are in a complete state of disarray in Wuhan at the moment, lacking both staff and supplies. People are being infected faster than the government is able to build isolation camps.

Do tell your competent and sensible solution, because I think this thing is already beyond control.
House them at make shift barracks, in governmet facilities outside of Wuhan. Plenty of militaries can throw up temperory shelter and medical facilities in a fortnight. You don't need brick n mortar hospitals to treat and house people.

When I deployed to Uganda back in the 90's we built an entire full service hospital in 24 hours. It's probably more efficient now.

More like they are treating them like people who live within a communist structure where the individual has very little worth compared to the whole.

In communism there is very little emphasis on individual rights. It is about the collective and what is good for the collective always supersedes what is good for the individual.

So if they see any threat to the great collective they will isolate and cut out that threat without regard to the individual or their rights.

(I don't say that to excuse it, just to explain it)

Geez that ever have additional humanitarian crisis written all over it. What about water, toilets, food and other services?

What if a giant wind or rainstorm blows thru?

It is one thing to quickly house able bodied soldiers that way, or to through that up when people are homeless due to disaster but I would not want to purposely move people into that type of structures unless you knew you had the ability to provide adequate services.

What they should instead do is commandeer a bunch of giant cruise ships, regardless of cost and move identified sick on to them. Eh forget that as they would instantly overwhelm them due to numbers.

China has entire ghost cities built that have no people in them. Fully serviced and comfortable. Transport the sick to them and treat them there.

You sure you want to go down that road bud?

A crematorium worker from Wuhan just confirmed that the official death toll from the Chinese government is utter bullshit.

What's really happening is that the place he works at is getting over 100 body bags EVERY DAY, which they are burning non-stop 24/7, which certainly contributes to the massive volume of sulfur dioxide currently being emitted into Wuhan's sky that indicates thousands and thousands of bodies are being disposed of, not a few hundreds total like Beijing is still insisting on.

Wuhan crematoriums 'are burning bodies 24/7 to cope with extra workload during coronavirus outbreak'

Wuhan crematoriums are reportedly working around the clock to cope with the extra workload during the coronavirus outbreak.

It comes as the death toll from the virus climbed to 490 in China on Wednesday.

The bodies of victims who have died from the virus must be cremated rather than buried, China's National Health Commission ruled on February 1.

A crematorium worker in the epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak has revealed the long working hours he and his colleagues are putting in to transfer bodies from hospitals and private homes.

According to Mr Yun, at least 100 body bags are required every day. The bodies are collected from Wuhan's three main hospitals plus other small hospitals, as well as private residences.

'Since Jan. 28, 90 percent of our employees are working 24/7 … we couldn't go back home,' Mr Yun told The Epoch Times.

'We really need more manpower.'

He explained that the funeral homes in Wuhan are struggling to cope with the influx of bodies. 'Almost all staff at each funeral home in Wuhan are fully equipped, and all Wuhan cremation chambers are working 24 hours,' he said.

Mr Yun and his colleagues are provided with protective suits to protect them against transmission.

'For us who transfer the bodies, we don't eat or drink for a long time in order to preserve the protective suit, because we need to take off the protective suit whenever we eat, drink, or go to the bathroom. The protective suit can't be worn again after being used,' he told the publication.

The Wuhan local added that other staff at the funeral home including receptionists lack the necessary protective clothing and resort to wearing raincoats.

Family members are reportedly prevented from seeing their loved one's bodies, which are picked up by the funeral home staff, due to the risk of potentially becoming infected.

Funny how most people don’t trust China in every other aspect but this they don’t question...

Interesting. How many people could it house?

And how many of them did you have available?
