Never once in my history classes did I ever hear of Thai or Indian people involved in World War II. I mean you would think a religion based on peace and stuff wouldn't be on the side of Hitler. Perhaps they were coerced by Germany to hate the Jews? History is changing as I know it.

duuudeee it's facing the other way and the nazi cunts didn't invent the swastika

The whole Aryan race doctrine proposed that Europeans were descended from India/Persia, instead of Africa. They appropriated the Swastika.

Well yeah Hitler was actually an Indian man named Parjeet how do you not know that

Why they would design a symbol of hate for the Germans to use on all their stuff is beyond me. They were probably paid with German treasures though. Which makes sense that a poor country back then like India would want treasure.

Wth are you on about?

The swastika is thousands of years old and has been used in Buddhism since the beginning. That symbol means peace and tranquility basically.

Nazis just borrowed it, flipped it, and tilted it. Nazis borrowed a lot of ideas from various sources and twisted them to fit their agenda. Go into any Chinese Buddhist temple and you'll see that. Many other traditions as well.

Siddhartha WAS written by Hermann Hesse, and he never actually denounced the Nazis. Maybe there was some Quid Pro Quo going on there. The Nazis were also allied with the Japanese, who were enemies of China, and the Chinese were enemies of Tibet. My enemy's enemy's enemy's enemy is my friend.

I know this is the Mayberry, but are you retarded TS?

All I know is, that statue has ball bearings on its head.

I'm pretty sure they just wanted to get paid, so selling the license to Germany for use of the swastika probably wasn't a big deal.

One golden German chalice could have bought a fleet of machine gun elephants, which are imposing, especially back in those days. Indias neighbors would have been shaking in their robes. Not only do you have to fight an elephant but some guy is shooting at you from the top. Complete and utter land/air domination.

That elephant looks like he's thinking, "Is this guy serious?" or "Shouldn't I have a helmet or something? Earplugs, at least?"

Not sure if really stupid or trolling /fry squint

You do realize that the swastika is thousands and thousands of years old, right? It didn't have anything to do with anti-Semitism until the Nazis appropriated it. Not only is it an important symbol in Buddhism, Jainism, and Hinduism, but it was also used by Persians, Greeks, Romans, Celts, Slavs, and even Jews ( among many others).

The Carlsberg brewery in Copenhagen had it on a couple of elephants if I'm not mistaken.

Why all these other nationalities would allow this though is the question. It was in their power to put together a international super team of lawyers and they could sue the pants off Germany for intellectual property (that they clearly owned for thousands of years if what you're saying is true). Maybe then there wouldn't have been a second war. Certainly a bit of bribery or palm greasing was going on. Something was afoot and it's suspicious is all i'm saying.

Literally what.

I'd be scared that if I started firing that gun off the elephant would get scared and like buck me off...

Again, wth are you on about? Intellectual property? It's a character, like the letter A. Are you gonna sue if the letter A is used in a way you don't like?
