wtf is jollibee?

The Filipinos are just trying to get used too with waiting in line because that is what awaits many Filipinos

I've heard of people doing it also for a free pizza at Papa John's or a free doughnut at Krispy Kreme. I could understand it for someone doing it that was suffering hard times but other than that it seems like kind of a waste of time.

Jollibee is weird. I mean who wants sweet spaghetti?

Filipinos...

I do...

But I don't like it too sweet like Jolibbee and in recent years when I cook spaghetti I am more on the sour and spicy side.

Hahaha, haven't heard that name in years. Ate there daily in the Philippines coz it was cheap and I was on a backpackers budget! Booze money = priority. £1 spaghetti? Happy days. Would never take the time to queue there!

Lots of cans who cant cook filipino food.
exactly there is so much good filipino food albeit most of the food is more like homestyle, you have Sisig, Sinigang, Kare-Kare, Pancit, Mechado, Menudo, the Lechon, they various seafood stuff, we have our versions of Chicken Bbq. Jolibee is just a fast food joint and shouldnt represent Filipino cuisine. I think the reason it took 8hrs was because Filipinos in the states miss this kind of food hence they lined up for this.

I used to work in a greek resto so our pasta sauce was on the bit of the sour side, we had a dishwasher who tasted the sauce one of the chefs cprepared, he threw it out thinking it was spoiled hahaha because most Filipinos associate Spaghetti sweet.

yup you have to taste it first, same reaction peopel do when they think why would I eat raw fish (sushi)
Well considering I don't eat pork, those ears would be out of the question

then you most likely wont like it here hahaha most of the food here is pork because its cheaper then beef.

I like many Filipino dishes (Adobo, pansit, caldereta, bbq on stick, cassava cake and lumpia). If you try lumpia, you'll love it. It's similar to a spring roll but has meat inside).

On my last visit to San Diego, i ate at a couple of Filipino restaurants. I have no desire to go to Jollibee. Another Filipino fast food place is Chow King. I don't eat there either.

I don't like Jollibee. The fried chicken at supermarkets is better and cheaper. The burgers are sub par. I never liked filipino spaghetti.

I used to like Chowking but it seems Chowkings quality and cleanliness is suffering recently.

The menu honestly looks a bit shit. I'd give it a go but it certainly doesn't look like anything special.

I ate there twice first time I liked it went back 2nd time and wasn't impressed got the pineapple burger and yes I was the only Mexican in there

My wife is Filipino and she needs her fix every so often. She loves that place.

Filipino food overall is an acquired taste. Also most of it is slow cooked so your be hard pressed to find good stuff everyday at a Filipino house. For me after a while of going to good restaurants I like it.

I think Action Bronson was gorging himself on some while floating in a pool in Hawaii.

Action Bronson is everything I aspire to be

Smoke weed all day/Eating whatever the fuck you want/bodyslamming people on stage

Its something made for 8 year olds. The worst dish that I tried was the chicken mixed with raisins and condensed sweet milk. I'm not sure if it was a filipino dish but the filipino maid at my grand ma's house made it for us when I was little
