How does that mantra go again? "Freedom of speech doesn't entail the freedom from consequences of that speech."

Huh?

Bruh, if you're not going to defend against presentation of the facts that you're a shameless hypocrite, a semi-literate charlatan, and an insecure internet warrior to boot, then at least have the decency to do your tuck-tail instead of feigning rebuttal.

was told to bring my off topic comment from the Epstein thread into the lounge, but I don't know what that comment was.
Apologies to the mods who have to cater to children smashing the report button.

yeah, its not holding up.

Congratulations. You and @Jack V Savage are finally in agreement. You're both very wrong and have turd-like egg on your face, but you're in it together.

Just realized that nobody responding to Gordon after he was shot was in on the ruse. No way an experienced detective would have bought that.

My whole life has been a lie.

I'm not sure i know what you're talking about. I also don't get why the penthouse scene was a plot hole (rather than just one of the weaker scenes in the movie).

Lots of Argentina memories triggered tonight.
We were at this restaurant in Mendoza, 1884, amazing food and atmosphere.
There is music playing that I know and I can't place.
Me to gorgeous 20 something waitress: who is this again?
Gorgeous Waitress, incredulously: Nick Drake
Me: *falls in love

Pussy comes and goes. Nick Drake is eternal.

Just to clear up any confusion, I liked the comment because I largely agreed about Epstein, not anything personal against you. I didn't really get involved in that, I don't know all the details. I'll let you two work that out among yourselves...
Way to be an adult

It's not a feud but the things he listed didn't have anything to do with what I was asking about. That's all.
You are still at it?

They told you. You are simple minded. You can’t imagine a perceived ally not agreeing. That means you are weak in the mind

It's called having a friendly disagreement. You should try it, instead of this antagonistic troll persona you've adopted.

You aren’t my friend

And you are truly hurt that they didn’t agree with you. So much so, you immediately quoted them and cried

Bad movies make for strange bedfellows.

Batman makes a split second decision to save a woman he loves, thereby abandoning an entire party of Gotham's rich and powerful.
If Joker kills them all while he's rescuing her, which is something he would do, it would totally mind fuck Batman, which is something Joker loves to do. Batman would be driven further into isolation and closer toward insanity, which the Joker intuitively suspects Batman is close to doing at anytime.

Its not a plot hole, imo, just a weak scene that doesn't make sense (the Joker just bouncing).

Because Texas has different laws than the 30-ish states where that’s legal. And apparently in 20-ish states it’s illegal. I’m failing to see what’s silly about that, besides that maybe Texas has a silly law. If there was a federal law that said that people on probation have to be allowed to vote then it would override the Texas law.

In Hawaii we have our own constitution and I for one am glad for it. I don’t want to have to have the same laws as Texas.

^ it’s not that crazy or uncommon

Sorry, it's fucking crazy. Why would texas be able to make a law about who can vote for an entirely federal branch of government? Moreover, Federal law supercedes state law, so you can have a situation where something is legal in your state, but illegal federally and you can be punished for it. So you do have the same laws as Texas, whether you like it or not, just not...all of them.

Implicit collusion, a term popularized by gaming professional Lee Jones, describes a poker strategy whereby the better players stay out of each other's way, by inferring who the other good players are. It's an unspoken agreement and, since it is never explicitly agreed to, it is not a violation of the rules of poker, but carries with it the power of cheating all the same.

This is a strategy that applies not just to poker, but to countless other situations in life.
