Wrestling vs jiu jitsu

The formula for MMA is well established now. You need striking, takedowns, & submissions. It ain't 1993 anymore, you need some level of proficiency in all 3.

Which would you say is the best to train along with boxing for mma in the future I have done some jiu jitsu and sub grappling both were fun and play into my naturals abilities but I can’t do both

If you can only do one for now then wrestling is the one to put most of your time into.
About 60% of sport BJJ is ineffective in a fight when you add strikes and take away the gi.

Wrestling gives you body control which is the fundamental skill and also takedown defence to be able to use your striking.

You can adds submissions and sub defence gradually, and even learn alot of that just by watching YouTube instructionals.

Also BJJ in my opinion is riskier due to the increasing awareness of carotid artery compression, not healthy at all and there is still widespread ignorance and denial about the danger among most instructors.
You already risk experiencing some head trauma from the boxing so give your brain a respite and stick with wrestling for the most part as the secondary style.

I have come across several professors who swore by this. They were highly against strength & conditioning and were only about technique/drilling as being your main source of conditioning.

Also, if you didn’t wrestle in high school to college, it is very difficult to find a wrestling club that will teach you the nuances of wrestling. Most places that are considered a wrestling class in most MMA gyms just teach takedowns without the emphasis of keeping the opponent down.
It's all so...unpredictable. For example I know a few guys who do only BJJ. Nothing else. Yet they are strong as an ox. Even in the few times I convinced them to lift with me. I think if you live roll with stronger, aggressive partners it basically functions as the ultimate in total body strength training.

This is true but I often wonder which guys are "enhanced." At least one guy at my gym told me he's on TRT (but doesn't abuse it) and two others have strongly implied they're on more than that. It's none of my business what people put into their body and some have freak genetics, but some hobbyist guys are strong AF and tell me they're only doing BJJ while their grip is like stronger than competition judokas who live and die by grips.

It's certainly possible to get very strong just from BJJ but at a minimum, I think attacking and defending TDs from standing works your body in a way that BJJ from knees does not.
