INITIAL RULES

Rules:

1) most points get the belt
2) to be the man you need to beat the man - going forward a draw doesn't transfer the title
3) no interim belt, resets if the champ doesn’t defend
4) ties are decided by who chose the main event winner, then going down the card from main event to start
5) 1 pt each pick
6) picks can be edited up to the first bell so you can change your picks if the card changes or you change your mind

Additional:

I would suggest we change the point system so that:
4 pts for winner, 2 pt for method of win (pin, sub, DQ, KO, other)
3 pts surprise return (one pick WHO, i.e. Dean Ambrose)
3 pts surprise heel turn (one pick, WHO doesn’t need when)
3 pts surprise face turn (one pick, WHO doesn’t need when)
3 pts surprise intervention (can be cumulative with other events, as in WHO and WHEN i.e. Ambrose bonks Rollins on the head = Intervention: Dean in Brock/Rollins)
3 pts surprise Swerve (one pick, i.e. Cena turning up to fight Corbin or Angle or Cena & Angle vs Corbin and Braun or Steph joining the Main Event, WRITE IT and we can debate if you were right)

 

Need a list of who are heels and faces. Very subjective.

 

Can we give negative points for all incorrect picks aside from W/L.

If you say Cena returns but he doesn't -3.

If you say Becky by Sub but she wins by pin -2, for a total of 2 pts, but if you just pick Becky wins, then you get the winning 4.

This will reward prop bets as tie breakers for those bold enough. Your call though

 

Hmm, I would just reward good guesses/predictions.

Game theory would suggest you never make a guess like Cena doing some shit because your probability of being right combined with risk and reward would mean that you don’t do any guesses. Takes the fun away.

 

But this is an open subject. PWD discuss and choose.

however I am not in favor of negative points for incorrect picks; it complicates things.
