Wrestlemania Discussion: Night 2

KO and Sami had five star matches in bingo halls, but in front of 25,000 in a stadium put on a TV level match that needed a celebrity, just seems like the WWE midcard feels directionless and lacking motivation.
That was my biggest disappointment. KO and Sami had a "good" match, but it felt like they were just going through the motions

Roman Is a star. Maybe not a star compared to the older brighter ones that have faded, but he shines brighter than anything they have now.
He was getting real heat, none of that duelling chant bull shit. Just straight boos for the head of the table.

You love to see it.

They were also given less than 10 minutes.

Meh, three good matches on each show. I think night 1 was helped by lower expectations.

I also think I am way harsher on wrestling than I used to be because I am just getting tired of it.
Fair enough.

I felt night 1 had four matches well above average
Drew/Bobby
Seth/Cesaro
Priest & Bunny/ MizMorrison
Sasha/Bianca

Tag title match was decent with New Day working heelish, and AJ being AJ.

Night two had a "good" match with KO/Sami, Asuka/Rhea, and a really good/Outstanding main event.

NXT was better than both.

Could be they are lacking the passion at this point. Vince has been making them beat the shit out of each other for years now.
And they were doing it up and down the roads for years before then. What else is there to do?

Golden opportunity to make somebody a star by beating him. Not Lashley, Not Drew, Not Brock. I mean somebody who we’re not even thinking of right now and they’ll have the golden ticket

I want him to have a nice long reign, and then make a star from him. Like the good old days.

Big E seems the most likely candidate

I am a massive fan of Sami but why does he suck in WWE? I missed his NXT run and most of his baby face WWE run so maybe he use to be good but at the moment he just seems to mail it in

idk man, maybe. I like them but I don't really get strong energy from them.
I mean, they have both been doing it for near 20 years. They probably just need to call it at this point. Maybe move into a backstage role.

KO could teach them youngens about how to cut a promo or two.
