I think Tanahashi was kayfabing after the Wrestle Kingdom main event. Shota Umino went full heel at the end of the match and even pushed his own dad down. Shota has been Tanahashi's protege and I think Tana was just showing disappointment in how Shota was acting.

I really don't think he was burying his own product on some Inoki bullshit.
