WR Posters You Don't Agree With but Respect...

Pretty much everyone has something interesting to say, even if it's just a troll-ish throwaway comment. I can only think of a couple posters offhand that seem to be consistently worthless. Of posters that I do like the first one that comes to mind is Rip. Now this doesn't mean he's the only one I enjoying reading, just that he's enough of a "character" that his names comes to mind first.
 
@KONE I disagree with him in his support of Donald trump, but I respect him for putting conor dickriders in their places in the heavies.

@ripskater definitely wins the unflappable award. No matter what get's thrown at him, he never gets ruffled. But remember, this is an anonymous identity. He might just be using Sherdog as a tool to fuel his real life homicidal rages. As I write this, I am thinking about going a little easier on him, I might be unwittingly causing the murders of countless gays and people with deviant lifestyles.

Thegreata, Captain Davis, Judo, oldshadow, Dr J--lots, really. This thread comes up once in a while, and a lot of the names I used to say are people I don't disagree with much anymore--BKMMA, Pan, Ghandi, Polish, UNC. Lots of other posters that I think are dicks but appreciate that they bring something to the table. Ehtheist, for example, is pretty much just a right-wing troll on the level of the TS or Heretic these days, but he's capable of making very good posts. Ultra can be very funny, and isn't dumb. Rip's a cool guy.

Generally, I take the insane hostility I get from a lot of the worst posters here as a sign of deep respect, too. There are any number of interchangeable, worthless posters here that one just dismisses or puts on ignore, but to build a kind of support group against one person who you disagree with is a sign that you know you're dealing with a formidable adversary.

Sometimes I have to step back and leave Rip alone as its easy to get caught up and carried away by the negativity here. Especially since I'm at work and post fast and furious when I'm in a crappy mood. It gets a little unfair to always go after him day after day and I have to remind myself of that.
 
I'm not religiously anchored to my political beliefs. Conditions change and new information becomes available.

It's hard for me to separate respect from agreement on the basis that if someone was making a genuinely respectable argument I would probably just concede partial agreement.

There are a few I originally misjudged as SJWs who turned out to be quite coherent and malleable. @MicroBrew comes to mind.

I'm unable to respect posters like @Workers United who rely entirely on brittle recitation. Either you respond as anticipated to their itemized list of coed buzzwords or you don't. And that's it. There is no 'plan B'.

:D I've actually taken a liking to milk stouts since I moved to NC. This has been my go to for about 3 years now.

I respect most of the right here.

Many on the left are pseudo-intellectuals though who either cry too much, sore losers, go off of emotions or are disingenious in their arguments and resort to pure strawman attacks when arguing points (you know who you are).

I can't respect the ones on here who are against our own countries (USA) interests. There are many here who would sell our own people in exchange for Muslim immigrants and it's pretty sad and pathetic.

Then we have the racist left who blurt 'privilege' this and 'hick' that. The anti-cop morons who deny statistics when it comes to certain people committing a abnormal amount of crime in relation to their population then immediately blame the police when one is shot and killed when the suspect was reaching for something and acting erratic.

You know who you are and I don't respect you, however I truly hope you get the help that you deserve.

I respect posters who don't get too emotional or personal on an anonymous sub forum on an MMA site. Guys who can articulate a point without seeming triggered. Lots of fiscally left leaning guys in here who are smart as hell and are capable of honest discussion with out just making it a flame war: JVS, Ghandi, Strict, KPT, and a bunch others.

I'll give a nod to @Falsedawn -- he does get snippy but he's smart and in my head he sounds like Russle (remi) from The Gorillaz
