Am I the only one who always gets @Scyther and @Strychnine mixed up? It's to the point of not knowing which is which, and I think it's a single individual who's a flat earther, dinosaur denying black army vet Christian.

Uhhh... I was in the Air Force and I think that dinosaurs were real. I am NOT a flat Earther.

He's definitely the MW GOAT. Really wish the division were as strong at the top in his prime as it is now. And, yeah, TCK is way better in the HWs than he is here. Lots of posters I'd say that about. Shit, even Hans is OK in the HWs.

@Caveat, is the one poster I consider to be a great philosophical mind who I disagree with on many topics. If I had to pick one WR representative to argue our merit to an alien invasion, it would be him. He's objective and a genuinely great thinker.

@Gandhi, is a so-called leftists member who I admire. He's intellectually honest, and despite having views I disagree with, is extremely witty and doesn't give much ammunition to the right-wingers, despite making them very uncomfortable. One of the best on this forum.

@Strychnine, is a brother in the Lord who I disagree with on many issues, but who is a stand-up gentleman and a proud veteran, and whose posts I take the time to read just because of how he carries himself. One of the few gentlemen on this site. My brother, you have influenced me.

@Voodoo_Child906 and @meauneau, two atheists who I respectfully disagree with, but who have the integrity to argue in good faith. Both are great sparring partners in any religious and philosophical debate.

@Madmick, is an absolute madman who despite hating Trump, has the vocabulary and wit that would make Hannibal Lecter blush. Reading his posts makes me sad to realize I'm such a rube, and also makes me wonder if he has secretly won a pulitzer.

Lastly, @Kafir-kun, despite our continuous battles, and the fact that I almost put you on ignore a few hours ago, I think you're alright. Of all the left-leaning posters on this site who I secretly want to fist-fight, you're my first draft. Seriously, though, you're alright, even though I may banish you very soon.

Thanks for the shout out, man. I appreciate it. I think I initially had a really negative view of you, but someone I respect (maybe Caveat or Kafir) mentioned you were a solid poster and I started reading your stuff more carefully. There's so much senseless negativity here that it can be easy to pigeonhole people, but I'm glad I gave your posts more consideration. We definitely have some fundamental disagreements, but I think we also have a common valuing of reason and open discussion.

As far as it is confined to the War Room, there are a couple of completely useless fucksticks I can't stand because they're admitted trolls and that is the worst kind of childish bullshit.
Just about everyone else deserves some degree of respect for expressing their opinions, even if I don't agree with them. Again, except for those 2 in particular, I try not to let WR shit flow over into how I discuss topics with those same posters in the other forums.

I'm sure there's more than one person here who doesn't take me seriously since I can become impassioned about certain subjects, and I'm admittedly somewhat crazy, but my posts at least come from an honest place and I am prepared to admit when I am proved wrong. I have respect for posters who do likewise even if I don't agree with them.

Edit: TS, I think you deserve recognition for your attempt here. I don't engage with you much for reasons I have explained in the past, but I still read your posts and try to take them at face value because they're worthwhile as often as not, more than can be said for many here.

Unfortunately, the annual "Shit Poster of the Year" threads never get pass the nomination phase before getting deleted. (Fortunately, the "Worst All Around Poster" category lives on in the annual "War Room Awards" threads now).

Of all the things to argue about in the WR, people trying desperately to dispute that they are not a shit poster deserving of nominations is perhaps the most hilarious thing to watch. :D

I respect everyone who is at least trying to tell the truth from their way of seeing reality.

The only posters I would dislike are those who are actively trying to make the Allegory of the Cave a little darker for us all.

Be honest about your world view, your means, and your ends, and all is well in the world.
