Does the Secretary of the Treasury usually announce sanctions?

The poor souls here who work at the farm only have 2 joys in life

1.Wodka

2. slap wife

Anyone else just in fucking awe of how crazy it is that Donald Trump was friends with Jeff Epstein and is on video partying with him, Donald Trump was known to have gone on his plane, and Donald Trump has ultimate authority over all federal prisoners and prisons.

....and yet somehow it's still Hillary that killed Epstein?

Somehow the one who is not in power and has mostly faded from the spotlight and relevance is the culprit and not the sitting POTUS.

Honestly I liked the Epstein memes but the sheer partisan hackery present in a lot of them like the one you posted them kind of ruins it.

that makes zero sense
one guy banned him from his properties after he was convicted
the other continued to fly, tens of times, with him afterwards

Yeah people keep talking about Bernie being a Social Democrat and point to Nordic countries but was he not a legit Soviet sympathizer?

But TBF I think that would have been a bigger deal in 2016.

Now I think people are more familiar with him and won't be spooked.

Also this Iran thing is a HUGE gift to Bernie. Especially now that Trump appears to doubling down as he refuses to leave Iraq even though they are asking us to leave.
I think he also met with Castro and praised Chavez' regime. His policies aren't that radical but clearly he has sympathies for some elements that would be considered far, far left by American standards.

I think him being a socialist will hurt him more this time around given the collapse of Venezuela in light of some of the things Bernie has said in the past.

that bread lines are a good thing! clip is never not funny

granted it's out of context, not given his full answer, but it's still funny to me
it's his inflection on 'good thing' primarily

His policies aren’t even in line with Nordic countries really.

He wants a hard progressive tax on the rich and wants a higher minimum wage where in the Nordic countries, taxes are relatively flat and they have no minimum wage.

Bernie doesn’t even understand what he is trying to emulate.

All he has going for him is his character.

Did Donald ban him from his properties in 2008 when he was convicted?

according to court papers that the Washington Post discussed, yes

although that could also be total BS, as it apparently came form the Lawyers of Epstein's victims

either way, his name wasn't on the manifest 24+ times flying to ol boys Island

I still wanna know what Chris Tucker knows, he was also on there multiple times w/ Brett Ratner, director of Rush Hour and metoo shitbag

edit: sourced
Trump barred Epstein from Mar-a-Lago “because Epstein sexually assaulted an underage girl at the club,” according to court documents filed by Edwards.

Sympathies? Like meeting alone with Putin and destroying any of your party's records of the meeting but allowing Putin to keep his?

Bread line are a good thing. So are soup kitchens and homeless shelters. They show solidarity with and assistance for the needy.

Food insecurity and starvation are bad things.

It's always seemed strange to me how that has caught on as a supposedly legitimate critique of communist governments. You ask anyone who grew up in a country like the USSR and Cuba, and you learn that breadlines aren't really a thing. Free bread, milk, and meat allowances are, and that's reflected in large reductions to food insecurity. Because it's effective, which is why it was used here during the Great Depression.

If Republicans instead started making quips about book lines or movie lines - things that are historically in short supply in communist countries - at least that would be accurate. Instead it just comes off as spitefulness toward the poor.

I don’t think I’ve seen a post of his which comes remotely close to sympathizing with or endorsing Trump, so...

What was the specific praise for?
He legit said the American dream is more alive in Venezuela.

Dafuq you throwing "b-but Trump!" at me for? Bruh, I'm a Bernie bro all the way so if you think I'm mentioning this as a serious issue I have with Sanders you're gravely mistaken. But nonetheless its a bad look in the context of American politics regardless of how I or you feel about it.

Nah, slow down a little. It wasn't directed at you in any accusatory sense. It was to point out that nothing in the past of any of the candidates comes even remotely close to how bad Trump is so it shouldn't matter, but for some people it would matter a great deal and that's pretty fucked up.
