This is a dynasty league and I’m out of the playoffs. Kelenic is apparently a big prospect so I think swapping the older judge might help cause I have Julio Rodriguez too.
If it's Dynasty it might be worth it. The Mariners have two pretty damn good young guys in Lewis and Kelenic... here's hoping they don't punch the fans in the dick... again......

The fucking talent they have squandered or traded away:
- Omar Vizquel
- Carlos Guillen
- Freddy Garcia
- Edgar Martinez
- Randy Johnson
- Young ARod
- Griffey
- Ichiro
- Buhner
- Olerud
- Moyer
- Felix Hernandez
- Brett Boone
- Dan Wilson (seriously, since Wilson retired over a decade and a half ago their catcher's have been a mix of mediocre to downright useless (looking at you Zunino))

They still have Seager with an unmovable contract and he's aging, Kyle Lewis, and Kelenic.... I hope they get their shit figured out.

@Deorum you have no idea the pandora's box you have opened.

If you're purposely misreading in order to create that disagreement, then it's dishonest.

For example, do you think the author disagrees with your statement? I don't. In fact I think it would be pretty weird for anyone to disagree with it.

That should kind of tip you off that you're missing something.

How condescending.

Jeez.

The original piece is actually something you'd agree with. He's saying that markets reward producing economic value rather than some possible inputs into that process. And you're saying that they indirectly do reward those inputs, right?

I added that while markets do generally reward value production, they also reward a lot of other things that are unrelated to value production. I think the ideal system is one that continues to reward new value production and broadly distributes existing wealth, hence my support for very free markets but also modified Georgism, high inheritance taxes, and a big SWF.

The labor market doesn't directly reward skill or effort? Non-profits exist solely based on their ability to produce economic value? Of course markets do reward the production of economic value. If he wants to emphasize ends vs. means that's fine. But trying to separate skill, hard work, etc. from value is a poor way to make that point. Lots of folks can make a good amount of money off a business that's in the red and failing (an indicator of economic value not being produced).

And I don't know anyone who equates wealth with moral merit.

You wanna talk about it lad?

Depressing article. People normally think of these conflicts by quantifying them through their death toll but the daily suffering of the Palestinians gets ignored when you do that. The fact that nearly a quarter of Palestinian adolescents have attempted suicide is insane to me.
No, not really. I just wanna post Welcome to the N.H.K. gifs

Kelenic is 4 for like 42 as of Tuesday.... the guy started his MLB tenure with a boom but has been struggling since.

21 year-old rookie, and 40 ABs is nothing. Likely future superstar.

Keep 15 no penalty

I think I'd do it if you're looking at multiple years. Judge is 29 and not the kind of guy who usually ages well, and Kelenic is one of the best prospects in all of baseball. Judge will be better this year and probably next, but I'd bet on Kelenic being better from then on.

Likely yeah but my response was based on someone having a shot at the playoffs and being in redraft not dynasty. It being a dynasty and it sounds like @essie is already likely out of the playoffs I say grab him.

There's a YouTube channel that breaks down the stats of players and one was talking about who would break the strikeout record as a hitter and Judge was on pace but retired due to injuries (Stanton retired before Judge).

It's like my dynasty football league where I kept Robert Tonyan two seasons ago and everyone laughed at me till he went fucking OFF this last season.
