Growing up like 2 hours north of Seattle... Portland always felt like it was trying to prove it was better than Seattle by taking a lavender essential oil dunked pinecone and sticking it further up their ass before they fart and sniff it.

I'm not involved in any art scene... it's just a general feeling of the place from multiple times in the area for things like kendo seminars and comps.

Nah it's just a general feeling.
Some of it is from when I used to watch stuff on the Food Network a lot and they go to Portland and everything they do food wise is like "this feels like they are saying they're better than Seattle... while doing the same shit with just more needless fluff"
