You are, I still don’t want to go debacle around Seattle with you.
I don't like seattle either I live up in the islands. We can debacle deception pass bridge because debacle is a verb now

Or just take him somewhere without a dress code.....or bring an extra shirt and tie just in case. I don’t want Yeti bud wearing a dirty jacket.

Nothing but the best for my boy. But I get your point. Maybe bring him something as gift and see where the night takes us

By any chance you catch any of the John Danaher podcast with that guy Lex Friedman?

some really interesting stuff. Not all about BJJ. Obviously that’s what I was most interested in.

Danaher said one of the most important things for beginners is to develop your escape game before anything else. Learning escapes from bad positions is how BJJ should be taught. He claimed that bjj players would be more willing to go for subs and take chances if getting out of bad positions was like muscle memory. Something you’ve been doing since day one.

for instance. Instead of just holding the mount you go for an arm. Even if it’s reversed who cares because you can get out of any bad spot because you’ve been practicing it since day 1. Also had a psychological advantage over your opponent.

he claimed a lot of places teach escapes more frequently at higher belt levels but a lot of it should be mastered at the start.
Saulo and xande have been teaching this way for almost 2 decades and it's what the foundation of their book Jiu Jitsu University is.
I'm not a huge fan of listening to Danaher he's too long winded.

Are you trying to lose weight?
Did you really forget about buk's weight loss challenge. That guy should return to the innernets and receive his pwns like a man imo I probably forgot some stuff too. Like the exact number of posters he challenged to irl fights

I gotta re-evaluate that post of mine because I feel like everyone misread it. I was criticizing Trots' post and gently pushing back against Polish's defense of it. And definitely not saying anything about the two-party system or that it's good to vote Republican.

Yeah, I get you. Admirable response, though.

I know. I just didn’t worry about changing the subject a little bit.

The post? Thanks, that's all I needed. People have been telling me 5 different stories.

What stories? My understanding is that he didn't do anything that would get him banned. He's just persona non grata with Crave due to previous events, and some of his posts here were reported and got attention. Hard to keep a low profile in the WR.

I’d kick his ass and beat him at swimming.....

Yes I do forget his weight loss challenge, it’s also possible I missed it

That's just your short person syndrome rearing up. Here is a post that you'll probably ignore because you dabble in dishonesty. https://forums.sherdog.com/posts/164860769/
I dabble in dishonesty? Lol you can’t honestly think there isn’t a double standard being used in the whole innocent till proven guilty, except if it’s a republican being accused.
