I think that Dana has the same ugly political views that Rogan does and sees this stuff as a net positive with the fanbase. Rogan would be punished if he worked for like the NBA but UFC seems to be a sports company that is now pandering exclusively to the right wing culture wars.

Which I think is why the idea of canceling is a boogeyman because it is entirely based on the whims of your employer usually. If Rogan had said something positive about Black Lives Matter or even Black people in general or spoke out loudly against Trump staging a coup Dana would have likely fired him, he just so happens to align with his boss on these matters.
