I started getting persistent floaters, flashes, and "curtains" in my visions, which, combined, are a huge red flag for a detached retina.

I’m not 100% sure but I think that’s what happened to my BF dad a few years ago, it was day surgery and then dark glasses and rest (it may have been a scratched retina, hang on I’ll ask) it was with lasers the surgery and he’s perfectly fine now.

I want the lack of urgency/ obligation to have to catch up. It’s very nice to check out.

Tried a Lachlan half guard pass I use to do a year or so ago and it was a mixed bag. Really want to get better at my passing overall. Unless get past knee shield in half, a knee cut, or shut down butterfly, I realized I do a very bad job with effective passing, especially when standing.

Did you watch Ozark. That first season was so damn great. The other seasons were enjoyable but nothing like that first season.

Yeah, I like it a lot. Bateman is so great in that role. I actually like the later seasons more because they ease up on the ultra-dark/blue lighting, which i found both off-putting and distracting.

Not a huge fan of the marital dynamic, though, where Wendy often borders on antagonist and Marty is a saint. Just kind of a tired trope imo.
