I agree that the regular threads are 90% worthless (iirc, Polish made a good one recently; luckyshot did too) but they're salvageable if you use the ignore function more liberally.

However, Lounge thread drama/quarrels are juicy and generally much more entertaining than regular thread back-and-forths.

Can I just get like... 1 of that 100 million? I could buy a BOSS fucking house for my folks and still have enough left over to pay off most of an awesome house for myself and my debts so I can use consistent mortgage payments to build credit....

It amazes me how well that just shows the difference in the wealth brackets. Folks like Rogan and shit want 100 million for doing stupid shit while normal folks just want like 1% of that and we'd be golden and able to achieve so much more.

Thread quality has really fallen off lately, for sure.

Well Dems in general tend to be bad at both of these but in Florida it really stick out because they keep losing elections by 10k votes out of 8-10M voters.

With GA the thing that drove me crazy was other less known Dems running like Matt Lieberman (Yes of that Lieberman family) which made it impossible for Warnock to win without a runoff.... in a race where Loeffler and Collins were splitting the GOP vote.... just shooting yourselves in the foot.

The advantage the GOP has always had over the Dems (at least in my lifetime) is they are much better at organizing and messaging, but with the crazies taking over the party they aren't as strong as they once were. A big opportunity for Dems to strike IMO but the Dems have to be ready and able to execute.
