You''re goddamn right I do.

now you go.

Absolutely not, the wifey got pissed saying the milk I got is old and too close to expiration.

The turnover on milk is super high and store turnover has to be super high, and even if you have to throw it out, it's like $2 dollars.

I figure looking at the milk over a lifetime (let's say it take 2 seconds to find the date, and 2 seconds to make sense of it, and 10 seconds to look for other bottles for a "better"' maturity date. That's 15 seconds at minimum, probably closer to 30 depending on how thorough one wants to be, or if hungover.

Over a lifetime if you buy milk twice a week is going to be like 2 hours. That's like working 2 hours to save like at best $5 worth of lifetime spilt milk. I told wifey to calm down and not cry over spilt milk. The reaction alone was priceless and made me lmao.

Just remember the Sell By date is not an expiration date.

For milk you get an extra week after the Sell By date at least.

For eggs almost 2 weeks...... certain breads close to a month..... for packaged foods...........

I don't recall ever paying attention to due dates on eggs. Honestly, I didn't even know there was a due date on egg cartons. I just fucking make 'em when I'm hungry. Never had an issue.

Most people that buy eggs & milk consume them so fast they never have a problem.

People that don't consume them that fast tend to buy condensed milk and eggs instead

I don't actually drink milk anymore, but when I did, boy did I. I actually miss it, but not as much as I hated the lactose intolerance.
But I did check the date, because I don't want milk even close to the expiration date in my fridge. The smell, the risk of drinking spoiled milk.... My grandfather didn't storm the beaches of Normandy so I could drink spoiled milk, even if by accident, you commie son of a bitch. Okay, now you, this is going pretty good.

Well for what it's worth.... I had to have multiple sinus operations over the past few years and it's made a world of difference in how I breathe how often I get sick and was just a huge quality of life improvement over all. The only thing that really sucks about is the cotton packing with the straws for a few days. That's not a good time.
Mine would be for the like moving the jaw, which sounds terrifying, or removing my tonsils and a lot of soft tissue in my throat.

This Wellness Check is brought you by America's Treasure: Paul Simon:

Many's the time I've been mistaken
And many times confused
Yes, and I've often felt forsaken
And certainly misused
Oh, but I'm alright, I'm alright
I'm just weary to my bones
Still, you don't expect to be bright and bon vivant
So far away from home, so far away from home
And I don't know a soul who's not been battered
I don't have a friend who feels at ease
I don't know a dream that's not been shattered
Or driven to its knees
But it's alright, it's alright
For we lived so well so long
Still, when I think of the
Road we're traveling on
I wonder what's gone wrong
I can't help it, I wonder what has gone wrong
And I dreamed I was dying
I dreamed that my soul rose unexpectedly
And looking back down at me
Smiled reassuringly
And I dreamed I was flying
And high up above my eyes could clearly see
The Statue of Liberty
Sailing away to sea
And I dreamed I was flying
We come on the ship they call The Mayflower
We come on the ship that sailed the moon
We come in the age's most uncertain hours
And sing an American tune
Oh, and it's alright, it's alright, it's alright
You can't be forever blessed
Still, tomorrow's going to be another working day
And I'm trying to get some rest
That's all I'm trying to get some rest

Encore the soon to be very famous Julian Baker covering The Boss:

Well, lights out tonight
Trouble in the heartland
Got a head on collision
Smashin' in my guts, man
I'm caught in a cross fire
That I don't understand

But there's one thing I know for sure, girl
I don't give a damn
For the same old played out scenes
Baby, I don't give a damn
For just the in-betweens
Honey, I want the heart, I want the soul
I want control right now
You better listen to me, baby

Talk about a dream
Try to make it real
You wake up in the night
With a fear so real
You spend your life waiting
For a moment that just don't come
Well, don't waste your time waiting

Badlands, you gotta live it everyday
Let the broken hearts stand
As the price you've gotta pay
Keep pushin' 'til it's understood
And these badlands start treating us good

Workin' in the fields
That'll get your back burned
Workin' 'neath the wheels
'Til you get your facts learned
Baby, I got my facts
Learned real good right now
You better get it straight, darlin'

Poor man wanna be rich
Rich man wanna be king
And a king ain't satisfied
'Til he rules everything
I wanna go out tonight
I wanna find out what I got

Well, I believe in the love that you gave me
I believe in the faith that can save me
I believe in the hope and I pray
That someday it may raise me
Above these

Badlands, you gotta live it everyday
Let the broken hearts stand
As the price you've gotta pay
Keep pushin' 'til it's understood
And these badlands start treating us good

For the ones who had a notion, a notion deep inside
That it ain't no sin to be glad you're alive
I wanna find one face that ain't looking through me
I wanna find one place
I wanna spit in the face of these

Badlands, you gotta live it everyday
Let the broken hearts stand
As the price you've gotta pay
Keep movin' 'til it's understood
And these badlands start treating us good

Whoa whoa whoa whoa badlands!
Whoa whoa whoa whoa badlands!
Whoa whoa whoa whoa badlands!
Whoa whoa whoa

It's probably less horrible than it sounds. Few days of pain , few more days of getting rocked on pain killers and watching Penn and teller do magic tricks and bam good as new.

Gotta be better than shooting down migs.

She’s incredible, one of my favorite musicians right now.

I am not fan of season 5 and loathe the season finale

I mean, it's objectively good for tv standards, but not for BB standards. And I haaaated the culture of pretension around the series where, at that point, it was considered so perfect by everyone that it was heretical to criticize it. There also seemed to be a disconnect between early and late viewers of the show. I tuned in at the end of the first season when it was still rough and had more tragic black comedy elements and before it got up its own ass with the constant classy music montages

Todd was my favorite part of season 5 and I still get mad they had Jesse kill him

Is it just me or did no one make a thread about the case of literal enslavement in America?

Weird.
