Absolutely not, the wifey got pissed saying the milk I got is old and too close to expiration.
The turnover on milk is super high and store turnover has to be super high, and even if you have to throw it out, it's like $2 dollars.
I figure looking at the milk over a lifetime (let's say it take 2 seconds to find the date, and 2 seconds to make sense of it, and 10 seconds to look for other bottles for a "better"' maturity date. That's 15 seconds at minimum, probably closer to 30 depending on how thorough one wants to be, or if hungover.
Over a lifetime if you buy milk twice a week is going to be like 2 hours. That's like working 2 hours to save like at best $5 worth of lifetime spilt milk. I told wifey to calm down and not cry over spilt milk. The reaction alone was priceless and made me lmao.
