But, again, this doesn't apply to Coates at all. That's all I'm saying. If you look very specifically at people talking about themselves, it doesn't apply. If pointing out that there is a tilted playing field in general is victim ideology, it applies to Coates, Murray, and almost everyone else.

BTW, to go back to our earlier discussion, the first serious, adult job I got, I was totally unqualified for and wouldn't have applied for except that I was encouraged to by someone high in the organization who I'd worked with as a freelancer, and then that person took me under his wing. That's the kind of thing I'm talking about. And how did I even get the opportunity to work with him before? Another person we both knew recommended me.
