I feel so down I couldn't fake an orgasm if my life depended on it

How we do that? lol. I don't buy it with women either, not all of them are squirters but you can quite clearly feel the muscles in their pelvic/genital area involuntarily contract when they're actually having an orgasm. There isn't any faking it.

just go woaahh wooooahh brfff gnoo

I played 40K (as well as a bunch of other historical, fantasy and scifi tabletop wargames and rpgs) in primary school and early highschool.
Found the limit of my geek tolerance when I went to one of the big tournaments and stopped altogether (can't handle conventions like Worldcon either for that matter).
Couldn't get into the fluff though. Even as a teen I didn't think much of typical young adult fiction (although I still read plenty for pleasure, fiction and non-fiction).
One of my nephews surprised me by getting into a simplified version of Battletech (Alphastrike) recently, so I printed off a bunch of minis and have played a few games of that with him.
Of course he's 6, so it's not like I'm encouraging him to commit social suicide.

I stopped competing in magic and stopped being more than dabbler in gaming in the 8th grade. I went to a magic the gathering tournament which I was a fairly high level competitor. I went up against a guy that looked a lot like the comic book guy form the Simpsons. I mean really similar long hair bad beard overweight brown hair. I use a red and green deck. Almost off the bar land a couple kird apes. Use giant growths and berserks to beat him before he can start his relatively slow moving blue deck.

This guy who was in his 30s who had just been beaten by a 12 year old had a fit literally starts yelling at the ref about me using a illegal card which it wasn't for that particular tournament. Manages to knock the table around throwing things all over. I just never competed again after that tourney. I just didn't want to be around guys like him and others grown adults that were like that. I still played with friends for awhile but the passion was gone for the culture. Of course I would pick it back up from time to time if there was a game in the barracks or school later on but that was the extent of it.

12 year old me would've mocked him relentlessly.

Never played MTG, so I don't really know what you're saying in the first paragraph, but yeah I had a very similar experience at the tournament which convinced me to quit. I'd been playing mostly with friends my age, but the tournament (Warhammer Fantasy Battles) was actually predominantly adults. A lot of them dressed in character and roleplaying the entire time. Barely a girl or woman to be seen. Lots of obese guys in leather trench coats and the like that had clearly given up on reality and had personalities that all seemed to lie on a spectrum between obnoxious and socially retarded (pretty sure they weren't roleplaying that part). I was embarrassed just to be there, and so badly didn't want to become one of them that I immediately stopped playing at all.
Keep in mind I went into a career in IT, so it's not like I've got no tolerance for geeks and nerds. There's definitely limits though.

How is it illegal to buy stock but it is legal to short it over the available number of shares? That is essentially the position of Wall Street.

The Robinhood CEO is saying that he ''didn't stop trading at the behest of any hedgefund.'' Well, they didn't stop trading it. They just insisted that all of their trades go in one direction - the one that would help the hedgefund that owns Robinhood.

Rights only exist between equals. Wallstreet doesn't see mainstreet as an equal. The billionaires involved in this will absolutely get their LLC corporations to do illegal things to protect themselves, knowing that they'll be allowed to walk away after declaring their companies ''insolvent.'' The owner of Melvin capital, btw, was involved in a company that closed shop after pleading guilty to insider trading and paying 1.3 billion in fines.

It shouldn't really surprise anyone that those preaching market fundamentalism from Wall Street were in fact just rationalising, and don't actually believe it when it comes to losses.
We already saw that with the GFC.

For every kong there's like 10 papi chulos, guess who they complain about though?
I can't tell who is who tbh. There's a few of the stupidest motherfuckers I've ever seen in my life posting lately. There's literally a Trump supporter attacking "leftists" as being pro establishment and a bunch of other stupid shit while also saying he's a socialist lmao.

On a different note, I really hope Republicans can deal with their Qanon issue. Literally the counter for Democrats is that fringe Democratic Socialists got positions ajd now we're balling out about universal healthcare, the Republicans on the other hand have a brand new hero that represents the entirety of Trump supporters beliefs in Marjorie Greene.

This bitch straight up believes Clinton cutting faces off and now she dictates US policy.

This is the state of the American Republican party lmao.

They had a montage of shame from similar commentators in our local coverage (2:00 - 2:20).
