probably one of the most exhausting times (physically) in my life was wrestling practice.

our coach didn't cut people from the team. essentially if you survived the practices, he let you on the team.

We had a varsity, 2 jv, and a freshman squad, plus our coach would try to find exhibition matches for those who didn't make any of those squads. Friday night dual meets lasted FOREVER!!!!
