Damn, you could get into some shenanigans in a month in Slovenia.
I like the mountains and being outdoors. All alone in a tent in the biggest nature reserve of Slovenia, thunder rolling down the valley in the distance. Bathing in a river was amazing, drinking water right from a source too.

Didn't do that for a whole month of course, I helped some people with their permaculture project. Making compost, chopping wood, shit like that.

It was great being off grid.

@JDragon can't remember if it was you among others here always riding my ass to watch Breaking Bad.

Finished it last night. Final thoughts:
- I feel bad for Skyler given how shit unfolded in season 5. She's still a complete bitch though

- Feel the worst for Walt Jr and Holly. Walt Jr is a bystander that will forever hate his dad and likely be connected to the worst of his dad

- I like how Walt tried to redeem himself by forcing his former business partners to hold his money to give to his kids

- What happened to Hank and Steve you could see coming from a mile away but it still sucked to see

- Marie got screwed

- Jesse got EXTRA screwed (still need to watch El Camino sometime)

- Saul ALSO got screwed. Watched the opening to Better Call Saul and watching him as a Cinnabon manager watching his old commercials on VHS was rough. I get WHY he ran, even though he ultimately probably didn't have to

The geography there looks a lot like the interior of British Columbia/Washington state.
*Add Slovenia to country to visit if I ever go to Europe

Yugoslavia was never really part of the Soviet apparatus, and slovenia was and is the most chill part of that area of the world.

Your joke is dead, sorry.

They did elect a total numbnut, but you are right. Quite beautiful country, too, btw.

And then there were the S&M clubs!

Btw, @tonni, during my sabbatical, I revised my opinion on "WAP."

As I told you before, it's trash rap and doesn't really bother me as a part of that genre. What I didn't realize when I talked to you about it was the unbelievably disingenuous and pandering critical praise it received. The liberal celebration of the track as some transcendent statement of sex positivity and feminist empowerment was (imo) infuriatingly contrived and stupid. The lyrical substance of the song is no different at all than what Nicki Minaj was rapping about 10 years ago, except with more talent and novelty. But in 2010, Minaj's female-centric songs about sex were considered trashy.
Absolutely. I was way more bothered with the far-fetched praise of it being some kind of feminist anthem, than by the "vulgarity" or whatever.

I'm still a bit stunned by it. It's not that revolutionary that female artists on MTV or whatever act sexually... It would probably be more revolutionary if the artist was an "ugly" chick that sang about solving math problems.

Why are you on dubs?

I was offended by the vulgarity.

It was so goddamn simplistic at least in the past it would be interesting.

You should just do it.

I can't wait until this covid bullshit is over. I'm gonna go on an adventure. Turns out Canadians can go to Georgia, the country not the state, visa free.

Georgia is great. Good food, beautiful nature, and their national ballet is really impressive.

I am glad I moved. I love my new job and I was struggling to get something like it where I used to live.

I miss the green of Washington though.

Very unsexy.
The song is just SO BAD. Reminds me of the meme comparing Bohemian Rhapsody lyrics to Beyonce's "Girls" lyrics and how brutally bad modern music is creatively compared to the older stuff... even though modern stuff has like 12 writers and 20 producers per song.

How did you feel about the M60 in the trunk gimmick? I thought it was so stupid.

Have you been?
Unfortunately not, I used to be really close to a number of Georgians and I was invited over to their place as a kid a lot. They invited me to go to Georgia but I was too young and my mom wouldn't let me. When I got older, I lost contact with them.

They used to bring me regional food whenever they went on holiday there.
