I've got to admit, that has to be one of the funniest things I've seen on here in years. He want's his account deleted and all the posts too. Doesn't he know that when you sign up here it's for life? That's why it's best we all Just get along...

So me, Andy and who else?
I guess it's only us two connoisseurs of the classics, friend. Heaven help them, they probably haven't even seen It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World. Young'uns. LOL

I'm in my fifties and remember those movies being insanely popular when I was a kid.

Mad World was considered a super movie because it featured so many big names of the time. It was a lot of fun.

The frightening thing is that he's one of a very select group of people in the world that can have all his posts deleted forever if he wants it.

Ditto, plus I was the youngest of a big family so they explained who everyone was to me back when I couldn't ask Google. ;)

Springsteen rocking a classic with the Roots years ago on Fallon. Even if you aren't a Springsteen fan, if you can't rock out from 2:30 to the end, you have no pulse. Dude from the roots murdering that tambourine, lol.

And again later that same show. And again, if you can't rock out at 2:45....

Sure hadn't. Thanks for sharing.

I know you like Sherry Darling, and there's an awesome version of it on the Promise Dvd, which is a documentary about the making of Darkness on the Edge of Town. It's not on the internet, unfortunately. But if you can find it, it's sort of hilarious. It's Bruce and Stevie singing a half-finished version of the song on piano. You can see very brief clips of it here where I timestamped and again at the very end:

On the DVD it's actually pretty awesome, he sings the lyric: "It's the last time her ass is gonna be riding with me." After they play it he says, "And that's the one and only time you'll ever hear this wonderful song" or something like that, because he wasn't using it on that record and never thought he'd record it.

It's great. Real music.

Yes sir. It does not get any better. That is the music that makes me feel alive, always has. The lyrics, the energy, the chime of that piano and a Fender telecaster.

This dude and that "Ugh, they maced me!" insurrection Karen should hook up.

"It's not fuckin' fair! I attack a federal building and all of a sudden I'm treated like a criminal or something."
